Many appreciate the system's compact size and relatively quick setup. However, some users experienced connectivity issues requiring frequent restarts, and a few found the app and firmware updates problematic. The price point is also frequently cited as a positive aspect.

Terrible system that constantly loses connectivity

When it comes to network connectivity, I have zero tolerance for items that do not have 99.9% uptime. This system loses connection with a different Google Home device every single day (I have around six in my home), the nodes randomly disconnect and require a restart despite between 15' across the living room from each other, and my Macbook Pro will intermittently lose WiFi connection and I have to manually select my network from the drop-down list to reconnect again. My desktop is hardwired into the main base station, and several times a day it will drop the connection for a few seconds, which means I'm instantly disconnected from whatever online game I happen to be playing. I "upgraded" to this system from a TP-Link Deco M5 setup because I wanted Wifi 6 and more control over bandwidth to individual devices, The setup process is clunky, slow and not intuitive, and the web interface could be improved. The only thing this product seems to do well is allow me to control traffic/bandwidth to individual devices on my network. I consider myself a power user, and the connectivity issues this product has are unacceptable. The system has always had the latest firmware installed, and I've unsuccessfully hard reset it multiple times to try and solve these issues. I thought a firmware update would have fixed the problem by now, but instead I have a product I can no longer return to Best Buy because of their ridiculous 14 day return policy.

Performs as advertised and better than I expected. We stream constantly from multiple devices in different room. My Wife and I both work from home. No more internet drops and Wifi Speed is much improved over our internet providers cable modem.

These have done exactly what I hoped they would do. My wifi is reaching all corners of my house and I haven’t dropped a call since getting these. Installation took a second to figure out but proved to be pretty easy after that.

ASUS products have been always good, I was having a few issues with my Samsung Mesh system and decided for replacement- So far Asus has been working well but it has only been a week. A true test we will see if it lasts through the year.

These are excellent. I own a large home that's spread out, over 4000 square feet on two floors, and by placing these carefully I have total coverage. I do not get the maximum speed at the farthest points of my home, but I get solid connection and acceptable speeds. Set up was fast and easy, just follow the directions and you're in business. One note: it will have you set up a wireless network, so if you already have a wifi connection to your router, you'll want to either disable that, or change the name - but this system works seamlessly once you are connected, so you won't even notice that you're connected to a "different" network. The only downside is it isn't cheap, but it works REALLY well, so it's very much worth the cost.

    Good speeds when stable

Decent throughput on both wired and wireless connections. Consistently see 300Mbps+ on Cat5 wired connections and 200-250Mbps on 802.11ac connections with Comcast 600Mbps service via multiple different speed test sites. Still trying to figure out why I am only seeing half the advertised throughput but pretty sure it's Comcast as even with a laptop directly wired to their Xfi gateway throughput is the same. My biggest issue with this system so far is the wifi stability. I have been using this setup for 10 days now with the primary node right next to the Comcast modem and Cat5 for backhaul between the other two nodes. Wired connections are stable but wireless devices drop out requiring me to toggle wifi on the device or reboot the primary node. Previously used two Asus RT-N66R routers in AP mode which provided rock solid Wifi for 5+ years with 1-2 dead spots. This setup solved the dead spot problem but introduced something more pervasive with connection stability problems across the whole house. Jury still out on this setup, for the price point it's a good value for what it is if the wifi was stable. I have another two weeks to return and will research alternatives in the interim.

My first choice was to head to my local Xfinity store for their mesh option. Of course, in true fashion it didn't go well. Walked into BB, picked up ASUS, drove home, plugged them and everything just worked. Really solid product. Love em!

After testing different systems from tpLink and gryphon, this one finally works for us. We have a 1700sf townhome that is like a long rectangle, and these three nodes work like a charm. Speeds are awesome. Recommended.

This Wi-Fi 6 system is very reliable. If you get lower speeds, check that you do not have too many devices. We ended up taking one of the units out of the mix. Our speeds are now amazing! Easy to set up and maintain.
