I recently purchased a 4k tv along with a sound bar. I originally had the sound bar connected to the tv through the optical cable that came with the sound bar. During certain movie scenes I noticed tons of distortion in the audio. I went to my local best buy and the Magnolia lead advised me to upgrade my cable to HDMI Chocolate and have it run through the ARC ports located on both the tv and sound bar. Doing this completely eliminated the distortion issues I was having. I bought a second one to connect my PS4 to the tv and it improved the picture quality as well. I am extremely satisfied with the performance of these cables.

I purchased this HDMI Cable after doing a lot of research and fact finding. I am very happy with the quality and performance of this product.. I am using this HDMI cable to connect my Pioneer Blue Ray to my Pioneer Elite receiver. Audioquest makes excellent products and are well worth the investment. I read a lot of comments that it doesn't matter how much you spend on AV connectors. I can personally attest that price and quality does indeed matter. I tried using generic $10 cables for audio and video comparisons and could easily hear and see the difference. I used high end Monster cables vs. Audiquest and it was no comparision, Audioquest was the easy winner. Audioquest makes many models depending on the need and customers price range. I am using Audioquest Carbon HDMI's to connect my new 60" Sony to my receiver and cable box. I am not an easy sell and very happy with the overall results. Do yourself a favor and buy at least the Chocolate model to connect your high-end AV equipment. You WILL notice the difference and be rewarded with the results.

Anyone who thinks this cable performs the same as a $6.00 cheap quality hdmi cable do not know what they're talking about. Comparing Audioquest with a generic cable is like comparing a Ford Tempo to a Lexus, yes it does its job and goes from point A to point B but quality and perfomance wise there's no comparison. These cables are made for high quality HDTVs in mind. I personally demand nothing but quality and always have been a Monster Cable loyalist but now I have to replace all my existing cables for Audioquest, yes they're that good. If you have a low quality HDTV I guess a $6.00 hdmi cable will do but for an expensive top of the line TV you need the very best and Audioquest delivers. And people please stop it with the Xs and Os nonsense, this was okay 25 years ago when digital was in its infancy. Botton line is Audioquest is now the new King and has dethroned the Monster.

I purchased the Chocolate audioquest cable. The question that is always asked "is there a difference between these expensive cables and the cheap ones". My answer is yes. There is a difference. It is subtle. You notice it over time. You will see the picture is clearer and smoother and the audio is more distinct. It's like moving from HD to to UHD. There is a difference. Some will say that the difference is not worth the investment. Since I bought a new receiver and had a gift card I decided to upgrade my HDMI cable to ensure that I got the most out of my receiver. I have no regrets. I plan to purchase another chocolate cable when I get an XBOX one X. If you care about a cable then get it. If you don't get a cheaper one.

This cable though it may seem pricey to most, is worth every cent. Made a huge difference both in my 4K and Non 4K HDTV. Quickly you will noticed a clearer picture, sharper edges, and little to no motion blur. The cables also give you TV a small crop factor allowing you to see more of what ever it is that your watching edge to edge. With a boost in Audio Quality I can say as an in the bubble $30 HDMI cable user I see the value in these cables.

everybody out there listen i bought a brand new samsung led 3d tv 55 inches and i bought a monster cable 1000 & it was ok well i heard about the m2000 monster so i went to best buy to buy it and they dont sell them in the store but they can order it for you well thats what i did but the guys were telling me just buy the audio quest your waisting your money on monster so i didnt listen to them well i finally got the m2000 and it was just alittle better than the 1000 so i was mad because for 250.00 it should of been really better. so i went back to the store and returned it and i didnt know what to get well i returned the 1000 too and i wanted to buy the audio quest carbon for my dvr but i heard the chocolate was just as good so i bought the chocolate for 125.00 and took a chance and i will tell you this right now i wish i had bought this audioquest chocolate along time ago man what a picture it blows the m2000 out of the water believe me dont waist your money on monster. the monster 1000 8foot is 130.00 well the chocolate is 6.7 or 6.9 feet it does retail at 138.00 but the best buy guys gave me 15% off it came to 125.00 & get this the m2000 cost 250.00 for 8 feet what a rip off this chocolate blows that away and its half the price, it even fits on tighter than monster & dont think you can buy a m2000 on ebay for 30 or 40 bucks because those are fakes i can tell you that right now unless there 75 or more then there real but if there cheeper than 75.00 on ebay they are for sure fakes i know some people that bought them and they were happy but thats because you cant tell the difference really with a monster cable and a good normal cable i know because i seen the picture from the m2000 on ebay and my m2000 & mine was better you could see the difference. i just went to best buy and bought the carbon for my bluray because i knew the chocolate was awesome. but even the chocolate is good for the bluray so even if you have a bluray just buy this chocolate.so everybody dont waist your time even trying to find a monster cheep on ebay or even buying one at the store just grab this audioquest chocolate believe me you will save alittle money & alot of time. even if you get the cinnamon over the m1000 for your cable box & the chocolate over the m2000 for your bluray it will still blow monster out of the water & you will save over 200.00 (i seen it with my own eyes)

Research and you'll find that in order to get loads of information sent quickly and efficiently, the cable and connection is crucial. You can buy cheaper cables but you can really tell the difference in quality. I spent a bunch of money on my 60" 240hz 3D led tv and 3D blu-ray player so it made no sense to skimp on a cheap hdmi cable.The silver content of the chocolate cable transfers the video at the maximum rate for full clarity and viewing goodness. In this case, you really get what you pay for. I only wish I'd gotten a longer length...if only a foot.

I've had lots of cable in my day. Thin ones, fat ones, short ones, metal ones.. But THIS. his blew my mind. I never knew I could get so much from going chocolate. I shuddered at the price at first, but after paying the premium, you get premium quality IN YOUR FACE. Your neighbors and friends will be amazed by just looking at this monster. Even more amazed at the results. Careful, your neighbor might want some of this chocolate cable too.

i just upgraded my systems cables from rocketfish to these and all i can say is WOW, i quickly noticed the picture difference (time warner cable) and the sound quality is a big increase as well. The cable even looks nice to, i have xbox 360 (soon to be xbox one) PS3, time warner HD DVR to my pioneer ELITE and then from that to my sony HDTV plasma. AWESOME CABLES!!!

It was a great cord. It was a little pricey, but I figured, Hey, you get what you pay for. Unfortunately it didn't seem that way for me. I really just needed it for my Xbox. I have 2 Xbox's and I needed to upgrade one of the cords to an HDMI since both TV's are HD. My original cord was a $50 Rocket Fish HDMI cord and I researched online and figured that this has to be one of the better cords since is had a better platting than the Cinnamon and Forest versions. Once I got home and plugged it in, I had no difference in quality than my old Rocket Fish HDMI cord. So I just decided to take it back and just get the Forest version. Plugged in the Forest one and still made no difference between the Chocolate. It could be the Xbox not pushing out better than a Blu-Ray player or PS3, but hey, it was just my experience and opinion. Also, I do not have a Blu-Ray player or PS3, so I couldn't really get to test it. Chocolate Price: $105 Forest Price: $48 Price Difference: $57

I was at my local bb store and was looking for the ultimate cable for my new tv and was not satisfied with that i was seeing. Then one associated suggested this so i had them order it and picked it up at the store a few days later. I was skeptical at first but now that i have it and am using it, all i have to say is unbelievable! It makes the pictures so vivid you will think you got a new tv (well i did) and the sound is as if were there. You can hear the camera brush against the leaves! The cable is smooth and thick and the brown ends merge well with most equipment stands and home theater wall colors making it unobtrusive. My mother in law is moving into a new house and they want to wire up the place now so they have no cables dangling around. They will need a few hundred feet the installer said. Well after being so impressed by this cable i suggested that they should use it instead of the generic no good for nothing cables. She balked at first but then i invited her over and showed her how my tv looks through this cable vs the generic one i was using with my old tube., She was totally astounded and so was her husband. This cable is the perfect gift for your favourite parents in law, and for yourself, if you you take pride in signal sophistication and quality of reception.

This is by far the best HDMI i have ever used. If you are using a 240Hz TV or a 3D Blu-Ray you need a cable such as this to get the most out of your TV viewing. Other cables cannot compare. Monster is good but this is better.

This is a well built cable, it made a little difference in what I was seeing, maybe I would have seen more of a difference if my TV provider used 4k or 1080p. Price is a little extreme, for a cable that won't make too much difference unless you have something that will transmit 4k to a 4k tv.

Cables are often times what can make a entertainment setup work well or work at it's best. If you get this cable, yes it is Very pricey but the quality of the 4k signal is second-to-none.

I was talked into this nicer, more expensive cable by the sales guy, the guy that came to set up my cable told me I did not need to get the expensive one and that a less expensive one would offer the same picture quality.

I recently purchased a high quality hdtv and wanted there to be no weak links so I bit the bullet and went with the Audioquest HDMI cables and wow am I glad I did, super high quality build, great video image reproduction and a great solid connection with my a/v devices. I have no regrets on my purchase of these high quality Audioquest cables. I have three of the chocolate HDMI cables and cant say enough of how great Audioquest connection solutions are. All I can say is thank you Audioquest and also thank you to the Magnolia staff for all your input in my decision making.

People tend to focus on the Hardware in any Home Entertainment System, but the connector cables are the unsung heroes, transferring the data from here to there, getting everything where it needs to be, hopefully without any noticeable signal loss or noise... and the AudioQuest Cables I bought for my system accomplish just that, doing everything right so that I don't have to think about them.
