||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HDMI cables have problems w/ newer technology like HDR and ARC (in other words, problems with Ultra High Def TVs and 4K Blu Ray players), If the cable run is longer than 10' don't plan on those technologies working with this cable. Don't wait to find this out until after you have buried 26' of expensive cable inside your walls. its very possible your sales person doesn't know this, but the more senior up to date installers will. We learned this the very hard way...

Posted .All current AudioQuest HDMI cables up to 8.0m. are fully compatible with 4K/60 and HDR. ARC (Audio Return Channel) was introduced with the HDMI 1.4 spec and all AQ HDMI cables incorporate ARC.
Please check that the cable was not damaged during installation or that another cable inside the wall (possibly an AC cable) is causing interference.

I had the geek squad mount my tv and they told me that the sales representatives were told to try to sale these because they are more expensive. They went on to say that these are good cables but not worth the money. I thought yeah. ...yeah. ...so i had them install them anyways. i have switched between both and saw no difference so i should of listened to the installer. Also they said that anything above the cinnamon is only for better audio. But if you have a sound bar or a home theater system it makes no sence to buy anything higher than cinnamon. So the moral of the story is live and learn.
