It has to carry its rated bandwidth over its length. I bought this cable primarily because I wanted 4K, I wanted a particular length, and I wanted it to run in-wall. Higher bandwidth is nice for the future but certainly not critical now. It does what it needs to do

I decided to buy Pearl because I have used Pearl HDMI cables in other 4k situations and performance was flawless. As expected despite 10' length cables were easily routed and produce exceptional video quality.

I returned the 16.5 that were to long and a lot thicker. The 9.8 cables fit in the Sanus in wall kit better & with the LG G 5 wall mount better.
