Easy instillation. Keep the same physical key for a backup. I really like the doorsense. I prefer to use the August app and google home app to control it. The myhome for iPhone does not use the doorsense feature. The My home app sometimes will not lock it and says it did. Same situation, the August app recognizes it didn’t fully lock and will complete the cycle or notify you that it is unlocked. You can set the app up to notify you if the door is left open. I’ve had a few different smart locks over the past few years and the August pro is my favorite by far. There are a lot more features and settings to play with. Those were just a couple highlights that I liked.

Attached this to my existing deadbolt in a bout 10 minutes. Works great with Google home. Proximity unlocking can be hit or miss sometimes but overall a great investment.

Purchased this smart lock and I have not been disappointed, I have enjoyed being able to know for sure I did not forget to lock my home. And being able to open the lock with my phone.

I have been using the August Door Lock for my AirBNB guests and it makes everything a breeze for both securing my house and giving guests remote access.

Never look for your keys again. Just one tap on your phone and your door is unlocked. No issues for me regarding connecting to the app. Smart Homes are the future.

Great lock Easy app setup and is compatible with Apple HOME. 15 min or less MAX for installation. The bridge was a little buggy initially but after resetting a few times it work perfect.

This is an excellent smart lock! So easy to install. I previously had Yale which was super hard to install. Now I just ask Siri to lock and unlock my main door. Great work August!

This works great! Now my kids can unlock the door as their bus nears the house and they don't have to fumble with a key. We can track when the kids get home, and when they leave the door open.

Easy to use, very useful when you have both hands occupied to get the keys to open the door, and it opens with cellphone Bluetooth. I really enjoy that experience.

I was looking for something easy since I have a rental and also something that is HomeKit compatible right out of the box. Super easy to set up and use and it’s been great.

I fell in love with this smart lock when my brother got it for his house it’s so good if you’re on the run. Or if you forgot your keys. Or you’re not home yet and guests are already at your house. It’s so easy to let them in. And I love that it comes with the connect which automatically unlocks the door for me when it senses I’m near the door. Saves so much time and worry and everything. I will never switch to another regular lock for my front door again. It also has an app so you can give temporary guest passes to family members whom are staying in your house so they can open the door without key just their phone. It’s revolutionary.

I got this because I didn’t want to replace my whole knob on the outside of the door. It was easy to hook up it looks kinda bulky on the inside but i don’t mind.

Good overall and works harmoniously with apple and android. Only drawback is design - too large and not aestheticly pleasing, specially given the premium price.

Manually using this lock makes a nasty rusty sound but using the app is amazing and that sounds isn’t there. Integrations are great as well

Ever try to get in your house with your hands full and drop your keys? Now all I have to do is unlock the door from my car then just open the door. I'm so glad I got this!

Tried another brand of smart lock before, couldn’t get it set up and working. The August smart lock was easy to set up and works!! It cost more, however worth it it!!

My hands are always so full when trying to get in door. You can set it to automatically unlock when you pull up to your home. And u can still use your old key with it

Love this smart lock! The device is discreet in that you are unable to see there is a smart lock from the outside. Installation was VERY easy. The software application is intuitive.

Love the concept of the smart lock. Got this Right before I got married. It allowed people to come an go without keys. Useful an amazing.
