August locks Will. Hangs your life for the better ease of use and a huge lifesaver. A must have if you have a smartphone

We bought this after we discovered that our teen daughter had given copies of our house keys to her friends. She also has lost the keys more than once. The August Lock works great. Somehow our daughter does not lose her phone. She was happy not to carry her keys and use her phone to unlock the door. I put it on auto lock and did not have to worry about someone forgetting to lock the door. We have had it for about 2 months and have no complaints.

This works great with HomeKit and has reliably worked for as long as I've had it. I know when my door is locked and if someone left the door open.

Great smart lock. Install and forget to carry a key. Can lock and unlock automatically. you can program so that when you get to your house open by her self.

This lock is great in that it uses your existing lock cylinder. As such, installation and set up was a breeze. So far it works without any issues.

We bought this August lock over 2 years ago and have never had a problem with it. Works great from our phone and Alexa too.

The lock works perfectly, but removed one star because I had to get creative with pairing the August Alexa Skill. I could not get the August account to link with Alexa until I got on my desktop and did it through Firefox. The account would not link through my iPhone or Safari on my Mac. Apparently this is common with some Alexa skills. Otherwise the lock works as advertised - unlocks as I’m walking up and performs all settings indicated. The Pro is also much quieter than the preceding version which is nice.

We didn't realize how much we would like this lock until we started using it every day. It's incredibly convenient to just tell Siri "Hey Siri unlock the door". It was really easy to install and hasn't failed us yet. It's not the best looking lock on our door (I'm sure it looks really cool on more modern houses) but it's usefulness makes up that. It seems really well built, however I don't like how it feels when I lock/unlock the door by hand. I feel like it should be smoother, but it works and that's all that matters to me.

I really love my August Smart Lock, very easy install, very easy set up works like a charm, I highly recommend.

I installed the August on the kitchen-to-garage door. This is a high-traffic door and, ultimately, someone will forget to lock it. The auto-lock feature works great! The auto-unlock feature is a cool feature. Problem is it works great on IOS but if you have multiple Android phones coming into range of the lock the unlock feature will fail. Overall I am VERY happy with the purchase and I'm planning on purchasing the next generation August smart lock for the front door.

Very easy to use and setup. Works great you can monitor all on your phone. Would recommend this to anyone who needs a great lock.
