Really enjoying this lock so far. I really like the feature that opens the door automatically when you get close.

Install the lock in less than 15 minutes. Love that it can be open automatically when you are close to it.

I have had this lock now for 6 months and it has worked flawlessly. Great integration with Apple Homekit as well!

This product worked seamlessly at first. Then for about 10-11 months I had noticed an issue locking the door manually. It felt to me as the lock was jammed and I had to turn it back and forth a couple times to lock the door. I had removed the unit from the door and tried to to turn the knob and I still had the same problem turning. Checking on the door and the door could be locked manually just fine without any issue of interference. Then then unit started make a squeaky noise when as the motor tried to turn and lock the door; and finally after 13 months the unit couldn't lock the door any more and couldn't be turned manually. Contacted the August support team, there's nothing they could do other than the 25% discount toward the next August product purchase because it's outside of the product warranty window. So, if you don't mind buying something only work for one year then by all mean go for it.

Works perfectly... took a little bit to install and setup but once set up, works like a charm.

The wireless setup is very touchy and the lock goes through batteries like crazy.

This works and looks great, had a little trouble adding a second user but was able to figure it out pretty quickly

I have enjoyed this lock. It was easy to set up and control. I can bow know when someone is home.

It seems the main failure of this product is the bluetooth bridge of which the lock is completely reliant upon. At best, I could only achieve a GOOD signal level (not EXCELLENT) with the lock (having to snake an extension cord under baseboards to find a sweet spot) and that required moving the bridge all over the place with ranges of from 1 to 15 feet. Plus it had to be oriented a very specific direction. Otherwise it failed more than it worked. I've had to completely reset the lock and bridge a couple times. There are times the bluetooth signal would alternate between POOR and GOOD with the bridge not even being touched. I use ALEXA to control the lock oftentimes and it's about 50/50. Tech support could only recommend moving the bridge to a location that provided the best signal. Not much help.

I am not mechanically inclined. But it took me about ten minutes to get this thing installed and working!

I got this home and installed it right away. Easy to put in and easy to operate. Great choice!

Bought this for my new apartment not knowing if it would work with my deadbolt but it does and does so reliably.

the product is just as specified, works great can open and close home remotely. use airbnb and it works wonders.
