August customer support is non-existent. You are better off with another brand like Wyze. A lot more bang for your buck and Wyze customer service is way more responsive.

Also had issues with hooking up to the internet. After solved those issues very happy with how well the product works & the multiple ways to lock/unlock our door.

It's quite to response and the batteries last longer than the 2nd Gen even though this lock has built in wifi and bluetooth. It's just a smarter lock... no problems with it.

We don't use the keypad as much but do lock and unlock it from our phones from wherever we are to let others in as needed. Very pleased with this product so far. Purchased January 2021.
