Customers admire the H2D AMS Combo 3D Printer for its precise print quality and flawless overall performance. The large build volume adds to its versatility, and users are pleased with its surprisingly quiet operation. This machine is impressive in so many ways. It's faster than I expected and the print quality is really nice. The most impressive thing to me was the automation and smarts of this machine. Even the tiniest issues are caught and displayed with accompanying error and troubleshooting messages. I forgot to take a piece of tape from the rear vent when I unboxed it and it warned me that the rear vent was being blocked from opening. It detected print failures early and automatically stopped. It even recognized that I put too long of a PTFE tube to the AMS 2 Pro. It really does make sure that you won't make a mistake or have a failure. It's also quiet. Now, you can definitely hear it, but it's more like a background hum and not obnoxious. Overall, it's great and extremely impressive.

Absolutely Blown Away by the Bambu Lab 3D Printer!

I’ve been using the Bambu Lab H2D printer for a month now, and it has exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I unboxed it, the setup was seamless and intuitive. The print quality is exceptional — crisp, detailed, and incredibly reliable even on complex models. What really sets it apart is the speed and multi-color printing capabilities. There was an issue with missing parts that best buy resolved. I had to re purchase the AMS from microcenter. The AMS system works like a dream, making multi-material projects hassle-free. It’s also surprisingly quiet for how powerful it is. The software integration and cloud control are just icing on the cake — super user-friendly and constantly updated. Bambu Lab clearly understands what makers want: precision, ease of use, and innovation. Whether you're a hobbyist or a serious designer, this machine delivers professional-grade results every time. Highly recommend!

Requires tinkering to get it to work

Hands down a great machine once you find the right filament. I honestly thought all filaments were made the same but that's not the case in this machine reason I say that is because I use this machine a little bit differently from what people mostly would use it for. I basically use the dual nozzles to make the supports easier to remove for a cleaner print. The H2D has the ability to use petg for the supports and PLA for the model and vice versa and since those 2 filament don't melt together it allows the support to remove super cleanly to ZERO scarring. But... You have to use Bambu's filament or filament on their list. I tried using petg by creality and all I got was a speghetti mess. After several attempts and tinkering in the settings I just gave up. Then I bought some Bambu PETG and printed the supports with that and finally got the results I wanted. I usually hate when a machine like this makes it difficult to use whatever filament you want but if I'm getting consistent results then I can't really complain. This is a great machine it's worth the money but no you do have to tinker with it if you want it to work right just an FYI.

    An engineering master piece!

I watched reviews for weeks before pulling the trigger on the Bambu Lab H2C. I was originally leaning on the Snapmaker U1 but it was not exactly what I was looking for as I wanted to do multi-color printing but I also wanted to print engineering filaments in a sealed and heated chamber while having larger print space than the standard 256mm cubed. The H2C pretty much ticked every box for me and fits my printing needs and wants, while being reliable and using the same ecosystem as my P2S. Below are my pros and cons of the H2C. Pros: - The AMS 2 Pro system, which gets a lot of hate, but it is incredibly convenient and works very well. - Multiple nozzles for low waste printing. - Low noise operation - Ai monitoring heaters work fairly well. - Great size for larger prints. - Innovative and elegant machine that looks, feels and performs like something that is high quality. - Heated chamber - Eco mode for managing and reducing power spikes. - Consistent and high quality prints. - Uses Bambu ecosystem (software, slicer, nozzles, etc.). - Multi-material printing. Cons: - Poor VOC management and filtration. So be weary of printing filaments such as ABS and above, make sure you have good ventilation and are running air purifiers with activated carbon and HEPA filtration (ideally HEPA 12 and above). - No option to purify chamber at the end of a print. - Slow and lengthy print prep times. - Slow multicolor printing due to the nozzle changing (when compared to a tool changer). - Expensive but now that the Prusa Core One with Bontech is out and we know the price tag, the H2C seems like a bargain. (Note: They are totally different methodologies at multi-color and multi-material printing, with different features and ecosystems). Long story short: if you are in the Bambu Ecosystem, the H2C is a great step forward and a great compliment to any other Bambu printer of a smaller format like the P1S, P2S, X1C, X2D, etc. Similar applies if you have an H2s or H2D. If you are not in the Bambu Ecosystem, I still recommend it, unless you are new to 3d printing. This is a different machine and would recommend you look at the Bambu A1, P2S, X2D before you dive into the H2 series (S/D/C). You can also consider other options like the Snapmaker U1 or the Flashforge Creator 5 for nearly waste-less multicolor printing.

    Top of Class 3D Printer

I have been 3D printing the last few years with a Creality Ender V3 KE. It is a good budget printer, but there were some limitations that I wanted to move beyond. I need to do multi color and the only option for a single color printer is to pause the print job and replace the spool. This let's you change color at a specific height, but that is limiting. It also had a habit of leaving some surface defects. The larger requirement was printing more advanced materials such as ASA which can withstand the temperature, UV and humidity for outside projects. After a lot of research and cost justification I purchased the H2D. Wow. Absolutely game changing. There is a lot to talk about, but here are the key features that I believe make it stand out in the market: * Heated chamber for ASA, ABS and other advanced materials. This is key and if you want to make anything useful that has to go outside in New England it's a requirement. * Dual nozzle lets you easily do not just 2 color prints, but 2 material prints. If you use PETG for supports on a PLA print, or vice versa, you get supports that just snap away with ease for a really clean finish. * Bambu technology is unparalleled. This printer has more cameras, sensors and intelligence than anything on the market. It uses LIDAR to automatically measure the filament pressure advance values. It can easily detect print errors and notify you before there's a problem. The Bambu 'Maker World" has the best collection of not only 3D projects, but the full configuration parameters for each printer making results much better. In the few weeks that I've had it I run it nearly daily and I've next to no issues. I am very happy with it.

This is my second Bambu printer that now happily sits next to my X1C and it is an absolute beast! Totally worth the price. It’s big and quiet and it chews through multicolor prints with ease and quickly and almost no waste. If you’ve got the money and your on the fence about it just take that leap you won’t regret it!

Amazing Printer. I upgraded from a Creality K1 Max. After rooting and calibrating the K1 I got some great prints. Using the same 3rd party Overture filaments that are my go-to, I printed straight after setup on the H2S, and with zero tuning, the prints looked as good, if not better, than the K1 max. I wanted a large-format printer that just worked with an AMS, and this hit the mark. Five stars, hands down.

I have used a resin 3D printer for years and wanted to get into filament printing without having to learn everything about these kinds of printers. The Bambu Labs H2S is easy to put together and works great I’ve been using it for months with no issues. I love that I can watch it print from my phone and start a print from anywhere. The size makes it great for printing out helmets and I’ve been putting together Halloween costumes for my family. I am very happy with this purchase.

I purchased the Bambu Lab H2S here at Best Buy and have been really impressed. Setup was quick, prints are fast, and the quality is excellent even on large models. The heated chamber and sensors make it reliable with different materials, and the monitoring cameras give peace of mind on long jobs. Only downside is it’s a single nozzle, so multi-color prints need extra filament changes, and the machine itself takes up a lot of space. Overall, a fantastic printer for anyone serious about 3D printing.

The Bambu Labs H2S is a very easy to use 3D printer for the beginner, like Me! I am 68 years old, and never had used a 3D printer before. The Bambu Labs WIKI information was all I needed to get great prints right out of the box. I highly recommend this 3D printer as I like that it is enclosed. The AMS Pro worked great for multi-color printing. Overall, a great experience!

My family and I have loved how quiet and quick this thing prints. We’ve only had it for a few weeks and still figuring out the best settings but printing right out of the box has been stellar. Waiting to see how this will hold up longevity wise and maintenance/replacement of parts. I recommend for high quality printing. The two nozzle game saves filament and time!

This was my first printer and it just flat out worked right out of the box. A great first experience, but a filament jam turned catastrophic. Attempting to remove the dried blob, some wiring was damaged. Kudos to Bambu for helping guide me through some repairs, sending replacement parts, etc. But, it was a never ending rabbit hole. I'd fix one thing only to find out something else was damaged and needing replaced. Grateful for BestBuy Total Care. I was able to return this one for a full refund and immediately ordered my current unit, the H2C. All in all a great experience with a solid printer. I'd purchase another one. Just bad luck on the first.

Absolutely love it. This is my second Bambu Labs printer. This thing is a behemoth, but once you get it out of the box setup is quick. Already have over 200hours of print time on it and not a single failure that wasn't due to power loss.

This machine is nuts with how fast and efficient it is compared to older open bed machines I've used. Warning, it's super heavy so have a friend help with lifting and moving it around. Take your time unpacking the machine and follow the guide as well as check out the bambu wiki for more pictures. You'll be glad when you know you've removed all of the internal packing foam tucked in corners and also the zip ties keeping everything safe during shipping. Do the calibration before starting prints and make sure you install the AMS 2 feed line all the way into the machine. I really enjoy the quality of the build of this printer and specifically got this for the single nozzle and massive usable build space with no compromises. First few prints have been amazing already and I started tweaking settings in Bambu Studio to get even better results on my most recent print. If you're looking for a mini manufacturing machine to use at home then this could be the winner. Unless you really wanna do multi color printing which the H2D and H2C are more geared for. Either way, enjoy and happy printing fellow makers!

The Bambu Lab H2D is arguably the best consumer 3D FDM printer currently available, a sentiment I wholeheartedly agree with after my first 3 weeks with it. It is as plug-and-play as a 3D printer can get and has performed flawlessly for me. The quality of the prints is superb and it can handle any kind of filament you throw at it. Highly recommended if you're serious about 3D printing.
