Very disappointed with this purchase. For the price, I would have expected Sphero to have incorporated games into their app. The novelty of driving BB8 around wears off very quickly.

It's cute, the kids love it, but is it worth the price tag? I'm on the fence with that. I would think it needs more interaction than it comes with. Maybe a mini light to shine on in the dark. Anyway the force was weak to a dad lol.

The bb8 is pretty cool but i only wish it had a powerful motor to work on surfaces like carpet. My bb8 gets stuck on carpet. The head pops of pretty easily as well. Wish it has stronger magnets to keep its head on.

Like the little droid. Looks cool, but doesn't follow commands very well and head falls off a lot. I got it on a great sale so for the price I paid I'm good.

Neat toy and the kids enjoyed for a few days. However, the limited ability and interaction caused the fascination to be fairly short lived.

#1 reason to return: Poor controls - impossible to navigate. #2: Compared to other robots, it’s super slow. #3: Bad construction - head keeps falling off. #4: Not value for money (even though i bought on sale for $32). Buy a Kamigami robot instead: it’s much cheaper (1/4th cost of the full price BB-8), has super construction (light and doesn’t break) and very easy to control - my 5yo loves the kamigami robots.

My grandson really wanted this. I am a little disappointed in the product because when it moves the head constantly falls off. He gets tired of replacing it and is easily bored with it now.

The itemToo small had to return. Person I gifted it to did not like it. Wouldn't work on carpet

Got this for my son as a birthday gift. It will disconnect while using it and it difficult to troubleshoot. When it works, it is awesome!

We’ve heard that it’s interactive with the movies but we haven’t been able to find the right one and the hologram feature is only viewable on your phone

Have wanted one for a while, but not at the original price. For $30 bucks, it was a steal and the kids are going to enjoy it on Christmas Day.

It is a fun product and very cool in its looks but its not used much. If it did more than just running into corners I might use it more.

This item may be getting returned as it doesn’t connect to my phone nicely which takes away from the fun. The app also was slow to download.

I was pretty hyped getting this for $30. Unfortunately, it did not work very well. The app was hard to use and the droid was not moving.

This little item is really cute to add to a Star Wars collection. However, it's useful life is very short. It really does not function ad intended.

Bought this for my kids (6&7) to use. It's nice but not something that holds their interest for a long time.

Purchased for child has some intesting activities on it but I don’t see this as Continued fun. After an hour was done with it.

I gave this to my son for Christmas. It is fun but almost every time he uses it he has to reinstall the app on his phone to get it to work.

Didn't realize that this was much like the mio robot and would also require the force band to be fully functional. A little disappointing.
