This is a really cool toy that is very advanced in technology. It seems fun but I would get bored with it after too long. I also wish it was bigger especially for the price. The app connectivity function is a nice touch though.

I purchased this item for my fiancées birthday. He was thrilled to receive it and opened it right away. Unfortunately we had to wait for it to charge a bit before using it. BB8 is very user-friendly and the app is simple to use. It is fun for all ages.

I got this toy as a gift for my son during the Thanksgiving period. I must say that It was quite an effort to get this hot selling toy during that period. I have to ask my friend to get into the line and snag 2 of them. So, this is a really awesome product and complements to another R2D2 which I also have. It's very swift and got lot many features. My son who is a teen got onto the job fairly quickly and downloaded the app. Then he had hours of fun for next few days. In his words, he like the time bomb option the most although I always ask him to play on the best otherwise it may run the risk of getting broken. The product quality is very good and one of the best products from sphero stable. No problems as yet and love it a lot...

If you love Star Wars and BB-8. This is a must have. Sure it's not a life size model, but it does roll around with his head staying mostly on top.

One of the coolest Star Wars items out there, seriously like having an actual droid. Looking forward to watching Star Wars with updated app to see BB8 react to certain scenes.

I was a little skeptical about buying, but he loves it. It drains the iPhone and Android, so we'll see how it does with the iPad Mini 4...

So the packaging and hype was interesting along with the first 10 minutes of use Then the head kept popping off. And the bulk of functions are on your phone/tablet. Take your $ and buy the movie collection far more rewarding . This ball is pretty much a dust collector.
