is amazing to see the head stay on top, but I would liked to have it with a camera to control it good price would be $70

BB-8 works great right out of the box, he has pre programmed motions or he can drive on his own or with you calling the shots. The messaging feature is cool also as are the sounds you get from him talking to you. He runs best on hard floors, though, rugs are a bit challenging.

Very amazed at the technology of this toy. I enjoy watching the reaction of my cats & dogs when they see it moving around. It has all of them curious, wondering what kind of animal it is. It is entertaining to watch my pets trying to interact with it. I love watching them.

I love this thing. I work 9.5 hour shifts alone. So it's my companion through the day. I set it on patrol mode and feel like someone is with me. Also, it starts tons of conversations in your home or in my case if I happen to have a visitor at work. Was a little smaller than I wanted him to be but all and all, great tech. Love my BB8. Catch them on sale at 120 (a little pricey in my opinion but whatever, idc.)

This little guy is a lot to play with, as the kids have a lot of fun controlling him around the house...watching his head staying on his body. Dogs want to play with him as well, but he's a bit fragile for them. The Ollie or Sphero 2.0 would be better suited for rough play.

Awesome and functional, whether it is as a collector's piece and fun to play with. I am very satisfied with it's scale and the details on BB-8 himself. I am glad I hunted one down and able to get my hands on it.

This smaller version that is controllable with your cell phone is smarter then the bigger version that just rolls around and makes noise. I like that you can personalize BB-8 to your liking. I love the hologram function. It's a great toy to spend hours playing with.

This is the droid you have been waiting for. This little guy is a blast. Had a bit of a learning curve to get him going but once figured out had a blast controlling him and learning some of the tricks. A nice addition to your collection and well worth the fun factor

OK so its totally fun to play with and looks adorable but more apps and future development is needed to fulfill its full potential. These are supposed to be on the way so with that in regards its worth buying!

It's a cool product overall, however it's a bit difficult to maneuver from your cell phone. I wish the voice activations was coming from BB-8, itself, and not your phone. It gets dirty easily if you're playing with it on the carpet. It's fun to play with the first time you open it, but after awhile it gets very repetitive and it just sits their for show on a full charge adding dust... When you have it roaming by itself, it tends to knock into furniture and walls and repeats itself. In my opinion, it's a great invention for Star Wars fans who loves BB-8, but not worth the price shown.

I am a big star wars fan... i try and collect only the quality star wars stuff. this looked right up my ally. I thought that I would drive bb-8 into a room, project a message to the people in that room, and have bb-8 make noises when he interacted with people. I was not able to do either of those things. the noises bb-8 makes comes from your phone only... nobody hears him beep when they get run into, because I'm the one holding the phone. The hologram projection is only visible on your phone... nobody else can see it. so basically it is just bb-8 rolling around controlled by you or on auto-pilot.

Love my star wars droid. It is pretty easy to drive. in my opinion its pricey for the size of this droid. #starwars

This Star Wars BB-8 droid is a fun product just in time for the movie. It's an entertaining little collectible to interact with. The voice recognition component could be more fleshed-out, but it is a good gift for adult fans of Star Wars if they have a smart phone.

I would recommend this product, great new item with the new star wars movie coming out, seems to be a hot item, they were hard to find after first few days. I bought it for a christmas present, early, hope the family likes it. Cant wait till the new movie comes out.

I bought this as a gift for my 12 year old. He played with it for about 2 weeks and every once in a while he will pull it out. It's very cute but kids get bored since all it can do is work like a remote control car. He loves it but just got bored with it quickly

The BB8 is a gift for my daughter who is a new fan of Star Wars whereas I am a much older fan. For myself, as a child, I loved Star Wars and I wish they had these kinds of fun toys then. Definitely enjoying the BB8 and Best Buy is the best way to purchase them!

BB-8 is awesome. It amazes me that he can stay up right and maneuver as good as he does. My boy has throughly enjoyed training BB-8 to do tasks and to understand his voice. If I could only get BB-8 to give me a foot message and rub my back it would be perfect.

If you're a true fan of the series and are looking forward to the new one in December then this is a toy for you. It is a lot of fun and the ability to pair it with mobile devices makes it even better. Hopefully they will release updates to enhance the experience.

This little droid is so cool. My 9 year old son absolutely loves it, as well as my 21 year old son. I love the voice command function. And I love that he shot was his personality by turning red when he gets frustrated. I would definitely recommend this product!

This toy is extremely fun for a few hours but gets boring after that. It is a well made product; however, the item is hard to control. Takes some training!
