Bb-8 is a great remote controlled droid for anyone. His self patrol mode has somethings to be desired as he just seems to go until he hits a wall and repeats this until you turn him off

Well built and tech is pretty cool. This is a Very Fun Toy and for any Star Wars fan, you will love it!

Just make sure the expected operator has a reasonably new Android or Apple device. It's sophisticated enough that adults enjoy operating it as much as technically advanced 10-year-olds.

I bought this for my brother for Christmas and he loved it! The other reviews are accurate. It is a quality product and comes handsomely presented in its packaging. My brother said he started to get the hang of driving it around pretty quickly. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I never got to actually play with the toy because I mailed it across country. But, it was a hit with my 30-something, techie brother!

Love this Star Wars toy. Built well. Still works and is lots of fun.

BB-8 was a hit with my 6 year old, and the entire family . Now I just need to purchase the Star Wars movie bundle , so my younger kids under stand what they are playing with. Good buy.

This is fun for kids and adults alike. I enjoy building tracks to drive BB-8.

I only wish I had more hardwood floors. Lots of personality and fun to play around with ... I only wish it had some type of edge detection so it could roam autonomously on a table, etc.

I purchased two of these just because I knew how collectible they would be; one to play with and one to never open. This is one of the best Star Wars toys that have ever been released.

A fun toy which is really just an expensive novelty. Once the novelty wears off, you are left with a very expensive star wars paperweight.

This little droid is adorable and fun. Doesn't do much...just as a remote control car doesn't do much. Why spend money on a car when you can have a little droid patrolling your house?

The BB-8 is a great robotic toy any adult or child can interact with using a computer, tablet or smartphone. It actually listens to your voice commands. It is well worth the price.

Its a pretty cool toy! Love the interaction with my mobile phone...play with it at work and at home. Not only is it a cool toy its an eye catcher! Everyone that has seen it wants it!

Our son loves playing with it. Once he got the hang of controlling the robot with his iPhone it was easier to maneuver it around. Our shihtzu thinks it's her mortal enemy. Fun toy!

It is everything they said it was. I know it will be a hot buy the closer you get to the holidays, glad I got mine early, in fact I got two and plan to give the other for Christmas.

A great piece of star wars memorabilia. of the three BB8's sold, Target, Disney and Sphere, Sphere is by far the better. There's no comparison the other two don't even come close!

The phone controlled BB-8 is amazing! I cannot compare it to the remote controlled cheaper version but this one is one of the coolest gadgets we've ever owned - or played with!!!!!

Overall, this item is definitely different and fun however, over time there lacks advanced features on the item and it can become dull.

Really enjoyed the product for about 30 minutes. Build quality is great but the functionality was not there. Didn't perform well on carpet and the droid itself does not produce sound. All sound comes from the app. I didn't see any form of AI or "personality" changes with use. The patrol mode was basically seeing it bump into walls and lose its head due to weak magnets. Great for short uses and a display piece.

It's cool, but an expensive toy. Thought he would do more, but fun to have. We ended up returning and getting something more useful.
