SOME MINDLESS FUN

Neat toy, terrible price

Fun, when it works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a fun and fairly well built app-controlled toy (kids 8 and up, I would say), when the clunky app works with the droid itself. The funnest part of this droid is letting him tool around on its own, using the AI mode. Another big pain is that the two pieces of the droid come apart, so if something bumps it hard or it gets stuck, the head pops off and resets the droid. Irregardless, I would still call this a win. My kids love it, and don't really care or even think about the little quirky things that drive me bonkers.

Pretty cool device

Fun for a few minutes

Myself and my 6 year old grandson had a blast playing with BB-8, bumping into walls, losing his "head", trying to get the little dude to just run straight... that lasted a good few minutes. Not much replayability, clunky controls (via an app on your phone/tablet/ipod). I'm glad I didn't play full price for this.
