Great Droid for my 8 yr old, it's great that you can control it from multiple devices. Lots of fun.

This is a remarkably fun “toy” for nearly all ages. The droid is pretty tough and has taken more than a couple tumbles down the stairs without incident, and the head motion perfectly mimics the film character. I did find the Force Band completely worthless, but the droid itself is great. I do wish the droid had its own speaker, but understand the omission, and it’s certainly not a dealbreaker.

my daughter wanted Hatchimals. this was not on her list. picked it up when it was on sale, figuring the Hatchimal would be forgotten about once it hatched (and it was). BB8 ended up being her favorite Christmas toy! It's fun and intuitive to play with, and it's very detailed and feels to be a quality build. I also consider it a STEM toy, introducing her to robotics, programming, and communications. Much better than the Hatchimal.

I cannot attest to the product itself because it is a gift that I will be giving for Christmas. However, the price was unbeatable, the shipping was quick, and the product came in great condition. This droid also has a lot of neat features. I honestly thought all it did was move around but it has voice activation features, and hologram features I guess. I am interested to see how this works.

Pros- Great presentation, build, and overall appearance. The app is user-friendly, has great presentation, and cool features. Cons- once it determines where you are standing, the detection gets thrown off if you move. If you hit a wall/table/etc, it takes a little while to reset itself. Must buy for Star Wars fans and enthusiasts, but if only getting for functionality, I wouldn't recommend it. There are better RC toys on the market.

This droid is fun to play and looks pretty good. Sturdy build and can put on shelf for display.

Smaller than other droids but fun too use. Takes a little to get used to control

BB8 is a great little toy remote control sphere. It's tough and can get wet. But best of all, it does not need wifi. most toys that use a smartphone usually wants wifi to control everything, but not this one. I can take it to the park and play with it on the tennis courts. Also my dog loves it. and this is where it being touch counts. my dog punches it and tries to pick it up all the time. And it still works like a champ!

This was there favorite present that they received this year. Its a little small but very cool.
