Almost a 5 star product

The only down side to this BB-8 is that the ball gets dirty with dust, debris, etc. as it's rolling around that his head piece starts to get choppy in movement, basically not smooth rolling. You just need to take the head off and clean the wheels and ball and you're back in business.

Great but...

Even with very clean floors this toy manages to find dirt and gets it stuck in between the tires on its head. It caused it to slow down and not run as smooth. It's very difficult to clean as well.

They all were able to download the app that controls Sphero and they could play with it taking turns. The holographic message function needs some work (too much to do to generate a message, but the concept is on the right direction.

They had fun with it for few days but they haven't used it since. It has some cool features that they haven't tried yet so I'm sure they will have some fun with it in the future.

A fun toy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very much worth the $30 Black Friday Deal (I would have a hard time spending the originally $200 price or even the discounted $100-$120). very durable even when it runs into walls while it "patrols." haven't watched the movie with it yet, but very responsive to controls and voice commands through the app.
