My kids recently got a new kitten and BB8 has made playtime for the cat 10 times better. It is hilarious to see her try and follow its movements. The droid is very responsive to its commands and the sounds it makes, takes it to another level of fun. Even without the kitten, it is fun to operate.

My wife and I picked up this little robot on Black Friday for a low price. We purchased it thinking it would be cute to have around, especially when rolling around and tormenting our cat. It does everything that is expected, and has a surprisingly long battery life.

Got this for my 11 yr old as part of his B-day gifts. It was fun the first few days, but it has been sitting on the charger ever since. So glad I didnt pay retail for it or I would have been greatly disappointed.

I like it, great gift for kids. If you're a Star Wars fan you'll definitely like it. It's better in my opinion then an rc car but not cooler then a drone. If you're a collector it's for you. Goes great with the collectible action figures

The robot is pretty hard to control since there is no natural "forward" on it. Once you figure it out it's still awkward in general. For the cost of it, it's not worth it. It was fun for about 15 minutes, and then it was going for return.

I am a Star Wars fan and having this little remote control droid is great. The only drawback is that you need a really flat surface to use it. I have hand-scraped hardwood floors, so the grooves make it a little difficult to control perfectly. Beyond that, we have a lot of fun with it.

It looks fantastic and when it’s working it’s fun and goes around like the one on the movie. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear to be very durable so make sure that you get the protection plan just in case it needs it

I purchased these droids in the past and they are an innovation in themselves. I grabbed these 2 during Black Friday so I could gift them to a few special kids so they can enjoy them as much as I do! I great Buy when you can get them. Highly recommend!

Very fun and cool but once the excitement wears off, it will probably just sit in your desk. I got this on Black Friday so it was heavily discounted, I would have never paid the retail price.

I bought this because ever since I watched the original Star Wars back in 1977 I always wanted a droid. I wasn't disappointed, the controls are easy to use BB-8 drives well on carpet, and it's just a lot of fun. My cat loves chasing him around and it's more fun then a Laser pointer.

This is a cute and fascinating toy that everyone in my family loves - kids and parents. The small size makes it easier to use around furniture. I only wish that it came as R2D2 as well. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because it would be a rather expensive toy.

My husband and grandkids love the sphero bb-8. I am so thankful I read the reviews because I would have bought the wrong one. It explained everything bb-8 did and the size, so I knew I was buying the right one. The best surprise was it was on sale when I bought it. What a bonus.

Purchased this for myself during Christmas shopping, as it was on sale. I've been eyeing it out for years, but the hefty price tag kept me away from pulling the trigger. Finally being able to take one home, I was very excited to let it loose and patrol my home. Although it does was it is advertised to do, I guess I expected something a little more "magical". It keeps bumping into things, it's head keeps falling off, and with the sound only emitting from my phone it kind of threw me out of the experience. On a positive note, my 11 month old son, and 3 year old daughter loves to chase it around! In fact my daughter befriended him. So that's good I guess.

Fun little gadget to keep the kids entertained for a while. Battery life great there’s different things you can do that is enjoyable by my whole family. You do need a phone with WiFi capabilities to control the device so keep that in mind.

Everything about this BB-8 is really cool. I love all the features on it but it's really tiny for how much it cost. It could've been bigger. Oh well. It's a cool little gadget to buy if you want your very own bb8

We bought this for my son for good grades in school. He likes it but only one problem, when it rolls across the floor, it picks up ALL the dirt, hair, trash from the floor and gets stuck in the wheels of the head. Then you have to clean it every 10 min of use. Oh well....

Man growing up remote control cars were a blast you would never think it could get any better. This droid however is a blast, fun to drive around the AR could use some work mainly just add more ships or places and it would be a lot of fun.

BB-8 works well enough but doesn't roll around very well on carpeted floors. On hardwoods, he is loud and not very much "in control". App controls are clunky as well, but this is a toy and not a precision drone!

i wish it did a little more. the hologram is kind of week
