This is an awesome toy. It has become part of the family. My kid still plays with it even months after we bought it. It is always being updated with new items. It is really fun to use. We love patrol mode letting it roam around the house. It learns where not to go.

The Droid is very sturdy and easy to use, the kids love having their own responsive Droid to play with. I took a star away because the watch with me feature could be improved, but the app that controls the Droid is easy to get from the app store and it's easy to use.

Works great on low profile carpet, wood or tile floors.

My kids love playing with this little guy. Be careful about his speed since we already ran him into a cabinet, knocked his head off and broke an antenna. The features are great and work as advertised. He became even more fun when we added the Force Band.

Got this present for my 7 year old and he absolutely loves it even though my phone get taken over. It does takes some time to get use to controlling and his head does fall off easy if bumped into anything but its magnetic so it attaches quite easily.

This was a fun buy! Husband, kids and I enjoy using the app to watch this little guy roll around the house! The best part is watching our dogs reactions!! The only downside? Dog hair will stick to it, which for us only adds to hilarity of the product!

I thought I found an amazing toy for my kids. Read lots of 5 star reviews and saw their marketing videos. After playing with it a few days, my experience with it is far from what they said and what's on their videos. It is an interesting toy, but control is barely working and very hard to control. Its response to iPad or Force Band is hit or miss and unpredictable. A simple remote control for $25 toy car would have better and precise control. Yes it looks great on videos, but they are just that, marketing materials. I regret the purchase.

This is a great, fun toy that I purchased for my 10 year old son. He really enjoys playing with it and also is getting the hang of using it with a Force Band (sold separately but will occasionally be bundled with purchase).

I bought this as a gift for my friend after she fell in love with the one I was gifted. It’s very responsive and BB-8s little beeps and boops are so endearing! Definitely a perfect gift for the Star Wars fan in your family!

I bought BB-8 for my husband as a birthday gift. He loves it!! It also makes a great cat toy: we discovered that our cats like to chase him around so lots of fun has been had with this little guy!

Bought as Black Friday deal, good toy for the price, but works best on smooth surfaces, I have mostly carpet..also isn't capable of much, but would be a fun collectors item

I had trouble getting the droid to keep a charge. It charged for two days and then after five minutes told me to charge it. I also had issues with the application. I eventually returned the item. :(

My son has learned to guide the BB8 with our iPhone. It is not an easy task for an adult even less for a 7 year old boy. He loves it when the dog and cats try to chase it and he record messages.

I bought this for technology class for middle school. Kids love it. It can be controlled by iPhone or iPad like any remote control vehicle, or you can download the Learning Labs app and do computer coding to make coding more fun and real.

Took about 15 mins to set up with wifi but not difficult for a 12yr old to do by himself. Rolls over wood floor and carpet and the 2 pieces stayed together going from one surface to the other. He used both phone and wrist band to control it.

First one we returned as it stopped working 2 days later. This one works on occasion - oftentimes, it will do the wrong thing when given a command or phrase. Mediocre performance for the price

It was a GREAT Christmas gift a year and a half ago, over the last 5 months, the battery has given up on us. I see where people have basically broken it in order to find a way to replace the battery, but obviously this thing is designed to toss after the battery gives up. I don't understand this. I have phones that are sealed shut and continue to work years later, but this thing gave up after a year. It also seems short sighted to not allow for battery replacement. It's a GREAT toy - but the battery replacement issue is poor design.

This is a fun little toy. I admire how much technology is packed into this little droid. My small dogs didn't appreciate being chased by it but it's great fun nonetheless. Highly recommended to Star Wars fans or anyone that like RC type gadgets.

Been wanting to try out this little gadget for a while and was worth the purchase while on sale. Nice collector's item to have a a Star Wars fan, novelty of it's abilities may wear off for some in due time though
