It is a good toy but warn that once you keep it on charging cradle it can damage the battery.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. It has exceeded all my expectations and is so much fun to play with whether you are 11 or 61! Very durable too I might add.

I have both the R2 Units, and though BB-8 doesn't have the built in speaker he is fun to play with. Now I can have all of them watch the movies with us ;)

Excited to get this going I found it didn’t keep up on my hard woods as good as videos I had watch prior to purchasing. Got to say though my kids love it!

This is a very enjoyable product. Our family spent hours playing with this device, playing with the hologram options. We all laughed and marveled at what this product can do.

The BB-8 is a great learning tool and lot of fun. It offers 60 minutes of battery life and includes lots of fun feature. It works best over hard floors.

It's great for hardwood floors. A little shaky on tiles with big grout lines, and it doesn't work well on our carpet. The kids love it. They get a kick out of the voice commands.

If you are a Star Wars fan - or even if not - these robots are really cool as they look good and the Sphero app is intuitive and realistic. Get one!

Bought this as a gift for someone, they have had nothing but great thing to say about it. They said it took a little getting used to, to be able to control it but they love it.

We purchased this for our 10-year old daughter, and she absolutely loves it. It rolls around on both the carpet and tile with no issues, and it does some very cute actions.

If your a Star Wars Fan you need this BB-8 droid in your household. This droid is amazing, with the control funtion from your phone you will be WoW'd.

The amount of tech included For the price is great however the novelty wore off quickly. Hopefully they’ll add more functionality with future updates

Not the easiest of controls in my opinion even though it's from a phone app. Maybe using it more gets you accustomed to it? I wasn't too impressed with the hologram either. I was expecting something that'd project to the wall... I had my expectations too high it seems. I think it has some great modes for the movement though, like going in the 8 motion, having it free roam etc. Overall, it is a good toy to have, something to while away time with.

I brought this as a gift for my nephew and he loved it. the droid was actually smaller than I thought so I'm glad I got it during a holiday sale.

We got an outstanding deal on Black Friday. I didn’t even have to stand in line. Looking forward to my son’s growth as he learns to program it more.
