Not sure if it is the router or the ISP. Like the ability to have a media band and a regular band.

To ensure stable internet, you need to check first the connection coming from your ISP's modem if you're not experiencing any intermittent or slow connectivity. If the modem is working is fine, then let's proceed in upgrading the firmware of your router followed by doing a factory reset and manual reconfiguration. For excellent wireless coverage, we recommend to try channels 1, 6 and 11 for the 2.4 GHz network, and 36, 40, 44 and 48 for the 5 GHz network. I guess that could be considered a good thing. My sons are on their computers all the time and I haven't heard a complaint yet.

Great Whole Home Router

Love the guest feature and have had no issues in the 4 months we've had the router. We have 1 computer 2 laptops, 2 tablets, 2 cellphones, our internet TV & a blue ray connected with no connection problems whatsoever.

Quick Easy Set Up

I connected my laptop directly to the modem and was up and running within a few minutes. I could be sitting next to my old router and not be able to connect my laptop to the wi-fi but sitting in the same location i get excellent speed and coverage. I set my son up on his own login for his ps3 and have not had any problems yet.

Wonderful router

Never more I had problems with it. The other two, one ended dead, and the other one froze and no one could bring them back to life. This, after one week of use. So sorry for haven't done this decision at the beginning. I wasted a lot of time with returning and Linksys customer service calls...

Thank you for sharing your experience with this router. If your iPad keeps on disconnecting from the network, try to forget the network and reconnect after rebooting the device. In case, the same thing will happen, try adjusting the wireless channel of the router as this might be due to wireless interference.
