Bought router for apartment fo now but will be moving to 3115 sqft house and curious to see if the range coverage is as advertised. So far the Dual band functionality has not been tested but seems like a nice feature for future streaming. Currently running two laptops and 4 Iphones with no problem.

A router is supposed to act as a firewall, DHCP and DNS server for your private network. This router does two out of three. Firewall is fine, and so is the DHCP server. However, while it correctly assigns itself as the DNS server for your network, it doesn't actually provide the DNS service. When I used it as designed, no device on my network could get name resolution for anything on the Internet. IP addresses worked fine, so NAT was doing its job, just no DNS. If I ran a DNS server on a computer on my network and assigned it as the network DNS server, then everything worked fine. Even a firmware update did not help. The only reason I give this two stars is because I can still use it as a respectable Wi-Fi access point and gigabit network switch. However, if I didn't have the networking background that I have, there's no way I could have ever made this box work. Last time I buy Belkin, as this is the 2nd time I've had issues with their network hardware.

It reaches a wide range. I don't need to use my extender anymore.

This router worked fine but set up was a little more complex than other wi-fi devices I have set up.

This is a lower end router, but it has done well for me. Every once in awhile I overload it when streaming video, but I know that would most likely happen when I purchased it. If you are just looking for a cheap router this is the way to go!!

Works fine. I am glad I had my techy son in law set it up. It looked harder than "plug-n-play"

The router was very nice looking and had some interesting software abilities, however, it would not work right from the beginning. Upon unpacking it, I noticed that it had scratched up blotch about quarter size which gives the impression that it was returned and then put back on the floor. It constantly blinked orange rather than the green light that would indicate it running properly. Upon testing the speed of download, my device showed it only pulling 7-10 mbps when my modem alone pulls 110mbps. We had to restart it like ten times a day. So ultimately we had to just give up and return it after about 2 weeks. We bought another one of a different brand and everything is running smoothly now. So, I can’t say whether the product is bad altogether or if this one was just a lemon. Either way it would not work, so that’s all I can report on.

Have had no problems with this router. Be nice it it had more information lights built into it.

It has excellent speed, and is elegant, but constantly looses contact with spectrum cable modem forcing to restart the cable modem. Even when the cable modem is working and has internet access
