After I connected the router it would not keep the signal / connection. I kept losing the internet. It might be good for lower speed, I'm not sure. I was not overly impressed so I returned the unit. It is difficult to say if I would recommend. For my needs, it did not work.

I got it on sale to use it as an access point to extend my parents WiFi. I have a power line adapter going from the router to their garage and have the other power line adapter hooked up to the router. It actually has an access point setting built into the router so you don’t have to worry about changing the settings in order for it to work with your original router. Just set the name and password (if needed) and plug in your Ethernet into one of the four lan ports and you’re up and running! I can’t comment on range since the garage has metal walls and doesn’t allow WiFi through. But every time I go in my phone connects just fine and works great.

Lacks some common features (in particular, does not support address reservation for known hosts in its DHCP server). Good wireless signal strength, seems to cover 2 floors of our house (wood frame construction) without a problem.

Originally, I had purchased a Netgear as a replacement and could not get a stable connection out of it. Unfortunately, most store locations only have Netgear products and had to order this one online. Once I received it, the whole setup process took around 5-10 minutes and have not had any connection issues since. Not sure why this one works better than the Netgear, but I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Belkin routers. Just plug in, connect, and after a few minutes you’re online. No apps to download or confusing set up.
