Dual band!

Bought a laptop 3 weeks after router purchase, hooked all up with Ethernet connection, set up network with no issues. Noticed on Belkin web site that it supports up to Windows 8.1! I have not had any problems though.

Your experience and feedback with the router is very important to us. It looks like you've noticed some challenges and we can help you figure out what has been causing it.
Is the firmware up to date? To isolate the situation, observe if the same thing is happening when wired to the router. If this is only happening wirelessly, it might've been caused by interference. Try to change the wireless channel of the router and update us with the results

Great router upgrade

My cable modem/router only did 2.4ghz or 5ghz at a time. This router will do both at the same time, so multiple devices can use their correct band at the same time with this router. It also extended my wifi coverage slightly compared to my cable one.

The reason for 4 stars is because there are a lot of times it drops signal and completely kicks me off line. It will say connected but the Internet service hangs. Need to reboot router then it'll start back up again.

As you reported, there are lot of times that the signal drops which is very unusual, and this is absolutely not the type of experience we wanted you to have with our Belkin router. Let's get this fixed. Do you happen to know if your router is running on the latest firmware version? We suggest to reflash/upgrade the firmware of your router using a wired PC. Once done, please proceed in resetting the router back to its factory defaults and have it reinstalled.
