With the AC (5.8 GHz) standard included you get a wi-fi router that will not be obsolete for a long time. Easy to setup and I found that I could connect with all my devices with little to no problems. Only had to touch the button on the front to get my cell phone to work with this unit. Highly recommended and I got it on sale for a great price.

The router was in another room behind one wall and probably behind me and couch. I moved it to another area without obstructions to the TV and this fixed the problem. I find that one internal apartment wall shouldn't have been too much of a barrier to ANY router, so I can't give it 5 stars. Otherwise it was easy to setup and has been running without problems for 3 months now.

In most cases, intermittent wireless issues are caused by wireless obstructions (metal objects, bodies of water, reinforced concrete walls, foil-insulated walls, and other similar construction materials) and wireless interferences (cordless phones, baby monitors, Bluetooth devices, laptops, mobile devices) which may severely weaken a wireless signal passing through it. There are a lot of steps we can do to improve the wireless connectivity like changing the wireless settings on the router, transferring the router in the most central spot in the home, and making sure the firmware of the router is updated. Good buy for under $100.

Loved my Belkin

However, unbeknownst to me, they don't work with all network providers. After multiple calls to both my network and the Belkin to try to get it to work I finally just took it back and bought something else. I would recommend Belkin just from my first experience however this last one I couldn't get to communicate.
