Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking to upgrade my 7 year old router and BB had this on sale, thought I was a good buy. First it's a very basic router with one light telling you it's working. No manual, cd or web link to help with the router, so it's guess work to figure what the different colors mean, how to set it up, or troubleshooting. I did have some issues setting it up, and it needed reset once because it locked up during setup. I have 2 computers, and 2 tv's, 3 cell phones connected at various times, it worked well when it's connected but for some reason keeps disconnecting occasionally for no reason. Went back to my old router ( because it works ) and will keep this as a backup if needed.

There are several reasons why the connection drops or is intermittent. Outdated firmware or interference other wireless devices are some of these. Tweaking the wireless channels of the router and making sure the router is running with the latest firmware can help optimize the device’s performance.

Router to match the speed of my cable internet

I didn't have to spend twice as much and I got lots of great features too. No compromises this is a great router that I will enjoy for a long time!

Setup was very easy and AC works much better with my new internet enabled flat screen TV. Even though my walls are plaster and the TV and router are on different floors, the signal is completely fine for 1080p over the internet.
