In our townhouse I have it in the kitchen and it covers the first floor, basement and 2nd floor. Works great with ChromeCast. There are 2 bands and I only have a small number of devices that uses the AC band.

It was easy to setup and I have a large house with 2 access points and they all play very nice together. I had intelistream on but it caused comcast to drop from 100Mbs to 50Mbs so I had to turn that part off.

I was expecting better wall penetration with the Wifi AC, but so far not that great. It does have dual channel and can support two different network names, so that is nice. It was only $60, so it looks like you pretty much get what you pay for. Not a bad deal for the price.

I contacted customer support, and after 2 full hours of troubleshooting, it still wasn't working properly. Though, Belkin's customer service was great. They helped me every step of the way, and tried everything in the book. In the end, bad router, great customer service.

Changing the wireless channel on both networks will help improve the range. You can set it to channel 1, 6 or 11 for the 2.4 GHz network and channel 36, 40, 44 and 48 for the 5 GHz network. Great AC1200 router

I haven't had any latency issues with the router while streaming Netflix and YouTube or uploading photos.

Our internet was bogging down and it was time to upgrade. The dual band is awesome being able to stream video and surf the internet is great. This is a must buy for a small family.
