After getting tired of that, I went and got another new one. Now it's starting to go down again, twice, the next time I will take it back and get another product. Customer service helped the first time ( 40 ) minutes, but I'm not going to do that again. This should not be a problem. I changed the modem also, so that can't be the problem, I can hard wire the modem to laptop, so I know the signal is there. And I did have high hopes for this product.

My entire family can be online with no problem. It even handled having guests over with their phones. Works great.

It has taken as long as 45 minutes to start sending a WiFi signal. Next time I will look at reviews and pick a better router.

This is a very unusual behavior for the Belkin router. Make sure that the firmware is up to date, then reset and configure the router again to try and fix this. This one has good reach throughout the house (which can be difficult because our home is 100 years old and full of plaster walls). Overall, a good value.
