Needed a new router because my old Netgear was glitchy dropping signals. So, bought this one because it was a good price for a Mid-tier AC1200 router. Got it home and immediately I wasn't a fan of it having 1 light on it to indicate everything. I shouldn't have to need a map color legend to decipher what the different color lights mean. Looks like they were trying to be cheap with the one light node. Setup was a bit difficult in terms of setting up a router. You can't really understand what's going on or how it's booting because of the 1 light indicator (argh) Long story short, ironic all my older Netgear N600 router still outperformed a newer Belkin AC1200. Took that thing back the next day. When customer service asked me what was wrong and I told her, she said "yeah, go with a Netgear or Lynksis in terms of routers." Funny she says that, my previous 3 yr old Netgear router is still better than this one. This may be a good entry level router for someone just starting out. But if you've had a previous one, don't think you'll like this. Hope this helps!!!
