Now it is set to reboot every Tuesday morning and won't reconnect to my ISP, so I disabled that. It also thinks it's february 1970 for some reason, haven't been able to fix that one yet. I suppose I have a time traveling router, but where it's getting the 1.21 gigawatts of power I have no clue, better keep an eye on the electric bill.

It is possible that the modem is not able to re-establish the connection with the router and may require to unplug and re-plug the ethernet cable. About the time settings on the router, change the Primary NTP Server and the Secondary NTP Server according to your location. Great Budget Router

After talking to an IT friend and digging around online, I decided to head to Best Buy and just look at what was on the shelf. The Blue Shirt was knowledgeable and helped me settle on the Belkin. It fit my budget and it's been working great. It has just enough features for my multi-device household and no noticeable issues.

THEN WE STARTED STREAMING AND IT WOULD LAG WHEN OTHER DEVICES WERE CONNECTED. SO I THOUGHT THAT THIS ONE WOULD WORK JUST AS WELL. BUT IT WAS NOT AS GOOD AS THE OLD ONE. I WOULD BE IN MY ROOM WHICH IS NEXT TO MY OFFICE AND I WOULD ONLY HAVE ONE BAR FOR WIFI. SO I RETURNED IT AND GOT THE NEXGEAR 1750 THAT WORKS EXCELLENT.

I went with this because it had all the features that I wanted including the 802.11.ac and Gb switch. I wish the design was such that I could mount it to the wall like my privius Asus router but it wasn't hard to find a place for it.
