Dont need a computer, could do it right from your phone, only thing is the 5g doesn't have a long range and keeps disconnecting even though I have wifi router in the next room. The 2g has better range but slower speeds. Good product for its value.

The 5-GHz band has a shorter range compared to a 2.4-GHz band. Because in radio frequencies, the higher the frequency the shorter its range. Which means that if you are using a lower frequency like the 2.4-GHz, the distance it will cover will be greater than the 5-GHz band. Only a limited number of devices can get good speed and I have to reboot it multiple times a day as I feel the transmission to device has reduced considerably.

I was pleasantly surprised by how easy this was to get up and running! I had to restart my modem but once I did that it works great. Good value for the money and setup so easy even I could do it. I highly recommend!
