Eventually I connected more devices and had multiple laptops connected, streaming services, and a PS4 Pro. The overall speed across all devices drastically dropped. You get what you pay for.

A lot of the advanced setting and functionality I was used to having with previous routers are non-existent on this one. Still good for the price and if you're just trying to get out to the internet.

Decent router in 2.4 mode, 5Ghz very limited range

While this router does have the faster packet 5g capabilities, the range in this mode we found very limited and disappointing. Otherwise works as advertised

The 5 GHz band has a shorter range compared to a 2.4 GHz band because in radio frequencies, the higher the frequency the shorter its range. To resolve any connectivity issue with this network, we can try setting a fixed channel. You can use channel 36, 40, 44 and 48 for the 5 GHz network.

First time wireless user can do the setup!

Although I am an old woman (61) I set this router up and had it running within an hour with absolutely no help from anyone. It has worked perfectly in the 6 weeks that we have had it. The purchase price was very agreeable. I am very happy with my purchase.
