Well, I was incredibly surprised when I installed it a ran a speedtest to find 66mb/s down and 4.5mb/s up...with the router being place around 150feet away across the house and through walls. I'm positive this device has magic included within the small USB case. Installation was quick with the included CD and my internet is blazing. It picks up ABGN so you're basically covered for whatever router you have. Spend only this much money and look no further to be satisfied.

My new modem is only 60 feet away and the number of bars in my connection varies from 1 bar to 3 bars. All my other devices have great connections with the new modem so i know that it is Belkin unit. I wish i could return it but it is too late.

Have you tried it on another computer? It would be best to adjust the channel settings of your router. You may refer to the router manufacturer on how to change those settings to maximize the capability of this dual band adapter.

Now I got this to work with my Belkin Dual-band router. Nice thing is that it does give me the option to work on the 600 band which works well for gaming. I have had better experience with Netgear or other brands.

I updated drivers the works still failed. I got this a month ago so hopefully my local best buy can give me store credit or something. All in all don't waste your time with belkin....garbage brand if anything go with ASUS

It would take unplugging it and plugging it back in several times before windows would see it. It would last about an hour and the problem would happen again. I would not recommend this product.
