One of the more unique aspects of this speaker is that it’s also a wireless phone charger. Keeps your phone at a convenient angle, in a nicely padded charging cradle. Unlike some wireless chargers, this one wasn’t overly picky about phone placement. My Note 8 and a Galaxy S8 had no trouble charging from just about anywhere in the cradle. A very elegant, solidly built speaker, that seemed to blend in no matter which room I placed it in. It’s pleasantly different from some of the other tech-looking cylindrical speakers that are out there. Heavy enough that you won’t feel like the slightest bump is going to knock it off the table. Support for Google Assistant lets you easily play music from most streaming services. LIstening to music, without needing to pair to a phone via bluetooth, was one of the main reasons for getting this speaker. We previously had a Bluetooth speaker in our sunroom, which my wife and I would constantly have to re-pair with, depending on which of us was in the room. Putting a Google Assistant enabled speaker in there solves that problem, and as a bonus, the sound is MUCH better! Speaking of Bluetooth, you can also pair to it via Bluetooth if you want. Some might find this useful if you want to watch something on your phone/tablet (my son does this frequently), but want a bit more punch for the audio. There is a very slight audio delay when doing that, but it’s very tolerable & some won’t even notice it. The sound quality is better than any smart speaker I’ve ever listened to. This thing puts out a level, and quality, of sound that belies its size. Sound quality doesn’t seem to degrade much as you increase the volume. Overall, a very nice speaker, albeit with a price to match. If you want something elegant, with good sound, and have money burning a hole in your pocket, this would be a solid choice. If you just some background music for your home office, and aren’t overly concerned with sound quality, you’d be better off finding something cheaper.

The Belkin - SoundForm Elite produces great sound for a compact speaker. The bass was amazing and the even with the volume up high there was very little distortion. I have decided to use it as our desktop computer speaker because it needs to be plugged in to use and does not have a rechargeable battery. I can leave it on our desk and it doesn't take up much room, puts out great sound and any of us 4 in the family can put our phone on the charging pad for a quick charge. The setup was super simple as I already had google home app on my phone so it connected with one click of a button in the app. Once I set my preferences as what services will connect it was ready to go. Tell google to make a call or add to your calendar, ask about the weather or get driving directions sent to your phone. Almost anything can be done by saying "hey Google". (no texting ability yet). I gave it a 4 star because of the buttons on the front. They are almost invisible and not raised for ease of use. I have the black colored Belkin - SoundForm Elite and on the desk about 2 feet away from me I can't even see the "buttons". They don't even light up when touched, all you get is some different colored lights on the front to let you know you actually touched a button. (which one? who knows!) Also there is no skip button on the front to go to the next song. You either have to say "hey Google" which stops the music , then say "skip song' to go to the next song. A button to skip the song would have been better. Overall a great little speaker but a little pricey for what you get.

Speaker sounds alright. It would have been better if you didn’t have to download another app just to use it. The charger also stops charging your phone before it gets full. I wouldn’t recommend this speaker at the price point.

I guess I’ll start off with the cons, unfortunately for some reason I had a message stating for some reason reason google was not able to allow to connect via Bluetooth due to some legal issues so I had to connect via WiFi which meant disconnecting my phone from my WiFi & connecting it to the Belkin Elite speaker & to contact customer service for further information. Besides that hiccup set up was pretty fast & easy download the google home app. & it walks you thru step by step, even lets you choose a male or female voice that responds to you. You are able to set up different music accounts for google to connect to to play your music off of & some movie channels also. I set up voice recognition but it doesn’t seem work when I ask it to do something like ask the time lower the volume etc. I couldn’t figure out if I had something set up wrong so I just control it with my phone. The sound is pretty loud & decent from one room to the next I can still hear it good & the volume is only at 50% even while vacuuming. I like the size of the Belkin elite speaker not to big it’s black matches & blends in with my decode. I really like the wireless charging I didn’t have to remove my phone case just have to make sure you place your phone probably centered & flat, my phone did get a little hot but charged a decent amount fairly fast.

I do like this Belkin Hi-Fi smart speaker. It has a small footprint making it easy to find a place for it. This speaker has big sound, rich smooth bass that can fill a room easily with no vibration. Being a smart speaker allows hands-free voice control with Google. Setup is easy with the Google Home app, which I have installed for many other devices already so was no problem at all. I did hit a snag getting the speaker to play my preferred music app Serius XM. After a bit of troubleshooting and online googling, I tried the time and true fix of pushing the reset button located on the bottom of the speaker and that did the trick. I have had no problem with that app since. The speaker also had no trouble playing Google Music at all. If you have other Google home devices you know the convenience of voice control. If not, you owe it to yourself to get acquainted and this speaker is a good way of doing that. The sound is great. The charger, on the other hand, is not so great. It does work and it is convenient if you've got time to wait for it, like overnight charging perhaps. It is not a quick charger. .

This smart speaker blew me away! I’ve not heard of Devialet before, but Belkin really knew what they really know what they’re doing when they partnered with them! With the wireless charger that is built in, Devialet has created a “push-push” configuration with the subwoofers to cancel out the vibration to the device sitting on top of the speaker. This made me skeptical at how this speaker would sound, but they hit it out of the park! You can hear a crazy amount of bass from the speaker, while there is still no vibration on top. Additionally, it doesn’t seem to matter how loud you push this speaker, it adjusts and stays crystal clear at any volume. I can’t believe that amount of sound comes out of such a compact speaker. It was quick and easy to setup up the speaker (just needed to download the Google Home app) and I was quickly away jamming out to music. Additionally, having the Google Assistant built in is very convenient when needing to voice command any changes, or ask anything of Google. The microphones do very well at listening over the music at almost any volume. The wireless charger will charge up to 10 watts and works very well also. Overall, the speaker will definitely impress, especially if you want an all in one device with a built-in wireless charger and Google assistant. I still don’t know how they packed that much sound in such a small device. A couple minor things I noticed, the power brick is very large what what it is, but not a deal breaker, and to pair a device to stream with bluetooth, you do need to set the speaker up with the Google Home app first otherwise the bluetooth won’t work. Nothing deal breaking, but something to note for future improvements.

The speaker has good sound and was very easy to set up and get running. It had a mute microphone button which I liked for when I don't need it "listening" in on me. The speaker can get loud but the music will sound a little crackling if putting it at maximum. The charge top is great and I am able to just put my phone on top at night to have it charge instead of plugging it in. I have been very happy with this speaker.

    Good Sound but Poor Instructions

I received the white Belkin SoundForm Elite speaker from Belkin on the condition of writing an honest review. I've had the speaker for about a week. Pros The sound is great for the speaker size. The bass is pronounced but doesn't overpower the other tones. The size is reasonable and can fit in any room. It's also easily portable, although a handle or hand slot might be a nice addition on future models. The speaker is relatively easy to use after setting up. However, I wasn't happy with the set-up process. See "Cons". Cons The instruction manual provided with the speaker provided minimal directions, which I felt made the set-up more confusing. It wasn't clear from the manual that the speaker will guide you through the set-up once you plug it in. Also, I don't want to have to search online for a more detailed user manual. I want it to be included with the device. The set-up requires you to use the Google Home app, which I was not happy with because I am leery about using connected devices requiring apps that could potentially compromise your personal information/security. The instructions didn't provide any other options for setting up the speaker, and as far as I can tell, there aren't other ways to connect to the speaker. Please be aware that I am a novice at using these speakers. Perhaps there are other ways to connect to it, but the limited instructions didn't state this. So far, I've only figured out how to use the speaker with selected apps that work with Google Home (Spotify, SiriusXM). I'm not sure how to use the speaker if I'm just streaming music from a website. I'm rating the speaker as four stars (good) because of the sound quality. Because of the issues with setting-up the speaker and how it seems you must use Google Home, I wouldn't proactively recommend this speaker. However, if these issues are not a concern to specific users, then the speaker is worthwhile.

A smart home assistant, wireless charger and speaker all in one stylish sphere. This speaker includes Google Assistant which is easy to set up and works very well, the wireless charger allows you to set your phone in the top of the speaker and charge without issue and at the same speed as a regular charger. Not only that but I was able to charge my phone without any issue with my case still on my iPhone. The best feature though is the sound quality, it offers loud extremely clear and quality sound without causing an annoying loud bass shaking the walled I know my roommates appreciate that. I would say that this is currently the best Hi-Fi speaker on the market right now. I would highly recommend this speaker to anyone who needs better sound, a wireless charger and or a smart home assistant.
