    This is good for what it is. However, if you're using it on a Macbook Pro or other Apple portable computer, know that this uses a basic chipset. Nothing wrong with that, except that it can cause a kernel issue and very high CPU usage at random times.

    This Belkin - USB Network Adapter - Black worked well in the beginning. It now will only work with one item plugged in the USB. Whenever I plug in the mice it will not operate on the laptop.

    I purchased this item to connect a Cat 5e ethernet cable to a newly-purchased Windows 10 computer. Everything connects properly. But the adapter gets extremely hot -- so hot that, intermittently, the data connection is severed, then reconnected. The adapter appears to be made out of cheap, cost-cutting plastic. Very disappointing.
