Will this work between a Thunderbolt 3 port and CAT 6 ethernet cable?

Will this work on a cell phone? I'd like to use this at places where wifi isn't available.
Answered by AnonymousAndroid and iOS both support ethernet connections, so as long as your device has a USB-C port this adapter should work. That said, I have only used it with my MacBook Pro.
How does this actually work. I have a newer model computer. But don't you still have to have a Ethernet cable to connect to the adapter and wall or you just connect the adapter to the computer and it should work
Answered by EvanYes, you still need an ethernet cable to connect this adapter to the outlet in the wall. This adapter requires a usb-c port on your computer (Mac). Make sure you have a usb-c port. There are different ethernet adapters for USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and Thunderbold.
