It has enough bandwidth to outperform most people's speed from their ISP. Also works with HDBaseT, which make is great substitute for using a $300 optical HDMI cable if you have devices that allow you to use HDBaseT.

Some of my legacy devices, like security system and other house hold monitoring devices want wired access, and now they have it. Probably need to get a few more soon. Cat-6 is the way to go.
