Unfortunately this means cables must accommodate this speed without signal corruption. This is what Cat6 is about, cables meant to transport very fast network signals. You need one of these (or longer versions) when changing your network speed, as I needed to. One for every device, computer, switch, router and so on. Basically anywhere you see a network cable that is still cat5 will have to change out, elsewise those that haven't become a data bottleneck.

One problem was shipping. UPS got it here in two days, then transferred to USPS who said they were waiting. Order is lost in the abyss. Live chat was a waste of 30 minutes with Best Buy. Called support and they had cables delivered same day from a store that didn't have it in stock when ordered.

It’s Awesome

I use it for my computer which isn’t very far from my router but you never know when you might need the extra length. I keep it spun up still so no marks or bends. Overall it still looks new to this day and works with my setup.
