I got this for my game consoles and for some reason it didn't work with my switch, however it worked fine with my PlayStation consoles, then a few weeks later, my PlayStation consoles sometimes wouldn't detect it, even though it was connected to them,until suddenly it just stopped working ,I got to use it for about 6 months but overall don't buy this.

Bought this cable to hook up a new printer to my router. Plugged it in and--nothing. Totally dead, no connection. Pulled out an older 25-foot cable I had and got an instant connection. I'll know to avoid 'Best Buy essentials' products from now on.

I am pleased for it working but prices is little bit high than other company.

rubber could be better, it's not as strong as I expected

The blue is ok color but overall it is a great value on sale

I had worries about these, and the clerk advised me to bu the more expensive cables if I wanted consistent performance. These appear to be for the value oriented buyer.

The cable is good, however the RJ45 quality is not good, it breaks easily

Bought this product some time ago and after a few weeks I noticed that one of the clips was broken on it and it wasnt locking into ethernet port

I returned the cable 16 days after purchase. I hadn't used it or opened it. They refused to credit my account. I told the manager that Best Buy has lost my business and he replied that "Then I won't give you a store credit". To which I replied that I didn't want it, that I was taking the merchandise with me. This was the store on Butterfield Rd. in Downers Grove. Sad thing is that our business is shopping for a new computer, but we will not be purchasing it from Best Buy. We are done with Best Buy.

It didn't workon my print and if it did the cost was to high

Bought several and had to return or throw away, very cheaply made plastic ends that snap the 1st time you plug and unplug, also it slowed down my internet mps, the ones i got by onn from walmart were way better much more durable

Probably the worst Ethernet cable I’ve used. I’ve had this for only 4 months and when I play on pc it kicks me offline but hehe I connect to my internet wirelessly it works perfectly fine don’t know how something fails so easily

The best buy service great. However, the product was fair---

One end broke so it won’t lock into socket, but some tape holds it. Upgraded my network and now use Cat 8 for 2.5 Gbps

I filled one of these out already, but I will again. I purchased the product because it was a Best Buy brand and significantly cheaper than the other brand I don’t know if I did anything that caused it not to work, but I don’t think so. I ran it through PVC to an outdoor shop to a Wi-Fi extender that previously worked great until an AT&T contractor came to install a new line to my house. He cut my old Ethernet line and so that is why I purchased this one. The old line was even spliced once with a splitter so I decided to get one long enough to not have to split it. Works fine but its very stiff. Would be better if it was a bit more flexible. Still decent for the price.
