Have since found the issue was the connector on the other side, NOT the cable. Cable is good value and IS CAT6. If you are only getting 100Mbps when using this cable, double check your connectors or attached device as the ethernet connection may only be a 100Mbps one.

I purchased these because I needed to make some shorter patch cables. Created two 10' patch cables out of these with plenty to spare for future use. They work just fine.

Even better that it was in-stock at my local Best Buy and I picked it up shortly after I ordered it. I might have saved some money going somewhere else, but, the small savings wasn't worth it. I knew this was quality item and didn't need to wait for shipping.

Don't know why you would get a name brand cable when the generic Best Buy brand is the same exact thing as long as it has the same rating. You can’t go wrong with it works great have it hooked up to my Xbox and I’m finally seeing the speed I pay for.

Wonderful when you need to hard wire

The only issue is that the cable box is upstairs in my husband's study, and my workstation was downstairs. This cable was long enough to avoid having to purchase a second cable box.
