Amazing! It has already paid for itself, since Geek Squad transferred all my files form the old laptop to the new laptop. It is nice having this insurance, just incase something needs updating or transferring again. Very happy with this

The membership is a necessity to maintain my computers, this day and age with all the electronics a professional group such as the Geek Squad is so much more economical and reliable to install and keep up to date the tv, washer, dryer, and computers.

Well worth the cost and has saved us considerably from added costs. Delivery (especially several extremely heavy products like a refrigerator and 263-lb. treadmill), installation and knowledge technicians have been invaluable!

Ive saved probably $1000 or more from not having to buy protection plans or haul away services and i get peace of mind knowing i have longer to return items ive purchased

The problem with membership is that it only covers reliable items like computers, tablets, and other things that are well made. It does not cover many of the failure prone items like most external drives and many peripherals. Since program inception, i have not needed service for anything, despite purchasing Samsung Pro 2 360 laptops, many Canon RF lenses, car stereos, multiple pairs of tower speaker, Sonus set ups and so on. With dozens of purchases many costing over a thousand dollars, you would think that the warranty would be worth it. It unfortunate means that you may rely on the other aspects of the membership, like free shipping, unfortunately my experience is they do not do deliverys well. If you expect 1 or 2 days add a few more and you will be happier. They advertise in stock or nor for local stores, if instock you would expect them to provide local delivery, but the last orders we placed were shipped from long distances. They do not notify you and offer you the ability to pick up the order locally when you have verified the availability! This leads to the worst aspect of the membership, you have to deal with long waits, followed by even longer and very aggravating calls with the hand picked agents. In my case, the last call resulted im my doing an analysis of the true benefits of my membership, unfortunately, 15 minutes with the customer service folks negatively trumped all of the benefits of the current plan. I would rate Best Buy support as being on par with Spectrum or AT & T. In the beginning the plan had substantially more benefits but the last changes gutted the more services related benefits that an individual will use. As is the all household plans that average 25.00 a month and cover all the electronics that you own are probably better because they cover all purchase sources. I will still purchase from Best Buy but the various tiers are a bad financial move and should you need real support we found that the cost to our mental health for even a short call was demeaning .

I just bought a new HP Envy laptop which led to me getting this total tech membership. I’m also looking to get a new desktop, a printer, and a TV. Having this membership is definitely worth it if you’re looking to invest and upgrade into several new devices at the same time.

This membership has already helped us. We had to return my son's laptop after the standard 30 day return window. The my Best Buy total includes a 90 day return window. We returned the laptop at day 87 with no problem.

The members help for production and customer service is great .. but getting schedule for services very difficult

Buying this Total Membership 2 years ago, and renewing it - is by far the wisest thing I have done. So many things are covered (eg. AppleCare on all my Apple devices) that it literally pays for itself and then some. I have convinced my family and friends to buy it too.

This is a real value and cost savings plus help when I need it.
