The cloth mop pad comes off of the surface as you are moping. It comes with two pads and you have to wash them a lot. Would prefer the shark steamer and would not recommend

This model was a replacement of another steam mop by Bissell that lasted for a little more than a year of light use. It died unexpectedly so I bought this one. This one didn't even last a year and before it stopped steaming. I will never buy another steam mop again.
