BISSELL - PowerFresh Deluxe Corded Steam Mop - Brite White/Saphire Waltz

I would have rated it as 5-stars but I had issues with my tile grout: I like how easy it is to use; the cord is super long, but it does tend to get in the way, the water steams off quickly so you will use a lot of distilled water; it's unbelievable how dirty my floor is, we don't wear shoes in the house but the pad is filthy every time I use it. I like being able to remove the base and steam hard to clean areas but because the unit is thick it is hard to reach under cabinets or smaller spaces (eg around toilet, under cabinet, door edges), Be careful if you have any type of grout epoxy/resin fillers, the steam has removed it. There was no warning in the manual, I read it twice to see if it should not be used on grout fillers, no mention of it. I even looked on line for direction but there is no mention of this. Now I have to remove the rest of the filler and replace it, lots of work but I have clean tiles.

Great product! Easy to use. Love the long cord, saved my hands and knees. Also very light, portable, and easy to maneuver. Brings new life to 20 year old grout!

The Bissell PowerFresh Deluxe Steam Mop cleans extremely well, and I’ve bought several of them over the years because nothing else gets my kitchen floor as clean. It heats up fast, produces strong steam, and does a great job loosening dirt and sticky spots. My kitchen floor has a non‑slippery, textured surface, so it’s rough on mop pads and they wear out after just a couple uses but the mop itself handles the surface nicely. However, here’s the big warning: do NOT use tap water if you have hard water. I learned this the hard way. I had to abandon two of these mop units because the mineral buildup clogged them completely. Once it clogs, there’s basically no saving it. Now I only use RO water, and it’s been much better. Honestly, bottled distilled water is probably the best option if you want the mop to last a long time. One thing that surprised me is how well the detached SpotBoost/grout brush works. I actually started using that brush for my entire kitchen floor, and it cleans even better than the mop head on my textured tiles. It gets into the grooves and lifts dirt the mop pad can’t reach. It’s more work, but the results are noticeably better. The mop itself is lightweight, easy to maneuver, and the cord length is generous. Just sweep first for best results, especially on rough floors.

I hemmed and hawed about buying yet another cleaning appliance, but I am so glad I did! Even with 3 pets in our house, our floors look amazing (for a little while anyway), and I'm so glad my pets don't have to step on and unwittingly ingest unhealthy cleaning chemicals. I have used it the mop on tile, cement, laminate, and also for spot cleaning on carpet. It wouldn't work well for an entire room of carpet, but it's great for little areas here and there. I didn't think I'd like the scent discs, but I really do. Leaves a nice fresh scent in the room.
