The picture isnt as clear as I would like with distances. The cord isnt as long as I thought it was. There is a lound click and noticeable lights, which takes the element of surprise away. And I dont care for the service price for each camera. There ahould be a bundle price foe a home.

Most smart security cameras from most brands do require a subscription typically in order to utilize cloud storage for the device to record videos for later viewing. We keep the cost of this camera extremely competitive to maintain the value it offers while keeping the subscription optional for people who want to take advantage of this as well as additional premium features that come along with the subscription. Blink does sell a Sync Module that you could use with a USB flash drive (sold separately) in order to be able to store videos locally and not require the subscription for viewing recorded events. I'll get up and walk out to the kitchen for some Tylenol or something in the middle of the night and walk in front of the cameras twice. The cameras randomly work only about half the time. If you are looking for something reliable this isn't it.

Thank you for your feedback on the Blink Mini Compact Indoor Security Camera — we're truly sorry to hear about the inconsistent motion detection, and we completely understand how concerning it can be when a security camera you're relying on doesn't capture every event. Intermittent motion detection can often be improved with a few adjustments: ensure the camera's motion sensitivity is set to a higher level in the Blink app, check that the camera's field of view is angled to capture motion across the frame rather than directly toward it (side-to-side movement is detected more reliably than motion coming straight at the lens), confirm your Wi-Fi signal is strong at the camera's location, and make sure the Blink app and camera firmware are fully up to date. We genuinely appreciate you sharing your experience, as your feedback helps us continue to improve — thank you!
