I’m really happy with my Blink Mini smart security camera. It's easy to use, and now I can check on my dogs whenever I want. They always wait by the door for us to come home, so it's great to be able to say hi to them at any time. I've noticed they seem calmer now. I would definitely recommend this camera!

It connects easily to wifi and my phone. However, when the camera comes on, it clicks loudly and a blue led light comes on. It's not great as a hidden security camera for that reason. I put something over the light. The price was good at about $35. Images are good and it definitely catches movement. The app it works with gives you a month of free storage for your images. After that, you have to pay.

Very convenient and small. The video clarity is perfect as well as sound. I strongly recommend this product.

I've had 4 Blink Cameras since December and they are decent for the price because they are priced below a lot of security cameras. However, you do get what you pay for and your experience may not blow you away. Camera Quality and Night Vision The camera quality is pretty decent as it can render HD images provided whatever your camera's film is close enough. Anything close enough will show in great detail but anything at a distance may be grainy. You can zoom into stuff but the zoom feature lets you zoom from your phone screen, the cameras do not have a zoom feature. The night vision is good too and works great indoors. My cameras will alert me of movement at night which is scary because they go off by accident for no reason. Night Vision and Outdoor Usage You may be inclined to mount your cameras on your windows and point them outdoors just like I did. However, the night vision lights will reflect on the glass back into the camera. When you look at your video feed, you will only see a reflection of the camera. If you wish to have your Blink cameras surviel the outdoors, turn off the night vision at night so you can see what is happening. Unfortunately, no night vision means you may not see much of what is happening outside. The camera will rely on light outside for a clear picture. So if you have outdoor lighting or your window is pointed at street lights, it will not be an issue. If you want a camera to guard a dark area outside, I recommend the outdoor version of the Blink. App Leaves Much to be Desired The app feels like it was made in a couple of days as it is buggy and lacks features. If you view one camera feed, you will need to wait 30 seconds before you can view another. It has most of the features of the Ring Doorbell app but it will work slower. If you also have a Ring Doorbell like I do, you will also be disappointed that you will have to download two separate apps to view both camera systems. It would be nice to have one app for both camera systems which should be possible because they're both from Amazon. One plus about the cameras is that if you have a Echo Show, you can view the camera feed from your Echo as long as you ask Alexa. Overall, these are decent cameras and if they are ever on sale, they are a good value. These are not outdoor cameras and they are best suited for indoor use.

These mini cameras have been a godsend to help keep track of my 78 year old man friend who has dementia. If he didn’t answer his phone, I would drive 6 miles to make sure he was OK. Now I can just dial in on my smartphone to see he is there just watching tv and perfectly OK. I can also use the microphone to tell him to go find his regular phone, or to charge it up. Wonderful time saver and stress reliever!!

The Blink Mini, came as part of a package deal when I bought 3 Blink XT2 Camera's. It has been a pleasant surprise, as I didn't know what to expect. It performs picking up my Wi-Fi Signal on the Porch. I arm it at night to alert me if anyone breaks into the Porch at night. I keep it plugged in, and all of my other Camera's are Wi-Fi, and with Batteries. The Video quality is quite good, as is the Audio. Using the App, you can change the sensitivity of the Motion Detection, and even block certain area's that you do not want to trigger the motion capability. It works quite well with any of the Amazon Video products (FireTv Edition, Fire Stick, Fire Cube, as well).

I finally bought it! I love the upgrade eventhough it's wired, but the quality is great and it is small and compact. Very simple set up and a great addition to my blink cameras.

Works well, only downfall is the mic that is not loud at all.

Very easy to install and link to other cameras. We love how we can schedule the viewing time for our camera. Visibility at night for viewing is good. The size of the mini is good too.

This is the most affordable mini pet camera out on the market. I do want to let people know prior to purchasing is that a Wi-Fi connectivity & subscription will be needed w/ this device. Thid works perfectly for my pet & takes a hi-def, crisp clips.

I wasn't expecting a lot for $35, so when I bought this, I kind of expected something cheap and low quality, but hold on... this is a stand-alone security cam that captures video and displays it on your phone or on an Echo Show! I would've expected to pay a couple hundred dollars for something like this! I read the review about the poor video quality. I didn't experience that. I think the video quality is fine. I think that reviewer's cam must be faulty. The cam adjusts for indoor nighttime video capturing as well. This is probably the single best purchase I've made for under $100 this year. I will certainly buy more to use around my home.

Installed this camera a couple of weeks ago. Easy to set up and has a clear picture to view from my smart phone. The product notifies me of any motion and records the motion.

Overall I'd say that these are a notch below the other Blink cameras, which is to be expected since they're so much cheaper. I paid about $15 during a Best Buy sale for mine. Good: Price, decent video quality, microphone Not so Good: Wi-Fi appears to be weaker, requires external power I tried this in my garage, but it kept giving me Wi-Fi connection errors. Regular blink camera worked fine. So I moved this into my basement where it's closer to the Blink Wi-Fi node, and it's been working like a champ. So buy this as extra cameras to place near your Blink module and you'll be satisfied.
