Couldn’t get it to power on, so I returned it………….

Customer service is awful didn’t work from day one

Make a weird scratching noise when volume is turned on.

Installation was very simple, we already use the blink system for our home in other areas so this was an addition. Easy to use and we can view things anytime we like and love that we can move the camera with the pan and tilt option which is a big plus. All parts work together wonderfully. I would definitely consider buy more of these for the existing camera's that we have. These would make great gifts for anyone. It sits sturdy so it won't be knocked over if one of our cats jumps up to where we have this sitting. Usually they aren't in this area, but just in case we know it cannot be easily knocked over. The picture is sharp, you have the option to hit the microphone and talk to who is in the room. Good way to spy on pets and see what they are doing when you aren't home. Also a fun way to spy on someone snoring on the couch after a long day of work. In my opinion I like the Blink system. We owned them previously and I would not hesitate to buy more or recommend them to others. They are well worth the money and work great. You can hook them up to your phone and view the camera even when you aren't home. Great product.

This review is for the Blink mini indoor camera with the pan tilt mount. First off, set up went smoothly. And the camera is very small and has a small footprint. Anywhere you could set a can of coke you could set this camera. It’s very easy to move from room to room just needs an outlet close by. I have mainly been using mine to keep an eye on my toddlers. And with the pan-tilt feature there’s nowhere they can hide. The picture quality during the day or with lights on is very crisp and clear. The nighttime quality does get a little grainy but you can still make out most things. For the most part the app is easy to use and have loads of settings. You can set up activity zones for motion detection. And then pick the sensitivity at which will trigger the motion, length of clips, retrigger time. The two way audio works but has about a 2 or 3 second delay. So most the time when trying to talk with somebody I would miss the first three or four words they said trying to respond. And maybe I over looked this one but I can’t find a way to clear all the notifications at ones. I have to open everyone one by one. Or just select all and delete to clear them. Looking forward to using this as a pet camera when on vacation also. In the past we were just setting up stationary cameras pointing at the spots they’re usually in but now with the pan tilt feature we should be able to find them most of the time.

I mainly got this for my daughter to use to watch her pet when we're out and about. She already had a standard Blink Mini for the task but adding a PTZ mount made it better for her to track the cat around the room. We go to my parent's house once a month and she like to keep tabs on what her cat is getting into. While a stationary Blink worked fine, being able to scan the room manually makes it so much easier seeing if she's getting into something she shouldn't. Set up was simple enough that my daughter did it on her own without waiting for me to go through the procedure and so far everything is working as it should. The only issue we've had is no fault of Blink, but the first time she spoke to her cat and moved the camera the little booger attached the moving camera like it was toy, lol. Good thing both units are sturdy or we'd be replacing them already. So far she's attacked the blink and stand three times with no damage at all. Hopefully she'll realize it's not a toy one day. I'll be grabbing a few more of these units for security around the house too.

I am very pleased with this camera. Would definitely recommend them to friends.

I don't honestly have any great need for an indoor security camera right now. That said, the opportunity to test this out as a "game cam" for my cats came up & I thought it sounded like a great idea! Right out of the box, the set up was very fast & simple. Download the app, set up an account, plug in the camera/base & I was off. During the day, the motion sensors and recordings were just what one would expect. In the app you can change the length of recordings, the sensitivity to motion, the time between recordings and- the feature that I thought was most useful, the portion of the field of view in which to look for motion! As a pet owner, I've already said that I wanted to test out on the cats, but if I actually wanted a security camera, I tested & know that I could control the motion sensor such that it would ignore the cats meandering around all day and only focus on the main door & only at a height that indicates a person was coming in. I couldn't get the night vision settings to work as well with the motion detection (thus 4 vs 5 stars), but that, honestly may simply be not testing enough tweaks to the settings. Final outcome- really enjoyed the camera & will use it- especially when I travel. Also, turns out the cats are as fat & lazy when I'm not around as when I am right here... who knew?!?

I have a lot of cameras in my house. I have a full 4k system from Swann, I got ring doorbell and floodlights, I also have an older wireless system from wansview that was sold on amazon. But this is my first Blink camera. I have always been curious about Blink because of the price point. It seems to me a very affordable "name brand" camera system that is sold at big box stores. So, I was really excited to try this unit out. First, the download of the app was super easy. Second the install was very straight forward. The unit comes in 2 separate box. 1 was the camera and the other the 360 housing. Each box came with minimal literature, which I appreciate. The app guides you through the set up. I just popped the camera out of the original holder (it did take some effort though) and plopped on the 360, plugged in the supplied usb cord and it was on. App picked the camera up quickly and in under a minute, I was ready to go. There is quite a few things you can set on the app for your camera such as motion detection and alerts, sensitivity of the motion and length of recording. Arming the unit, I was really surprised at how quickly I was alerted and how fast the recording was. The clip of the movement was saved on my phone. Really really good. Much better than my Ring cameras. The only negatives for me was the lag in camera motion when I tried panning it. That and the camera has a really prominent fish eye effect. Zooming in, objects are not clear. Can't complain because at this price point, I didn't expect the highest megapixel lens. I was gonna buy some more indoor Ring cameras, but now, I think I will just get this for every room of the house. You really can't beat all the functions and the quality for the price.

The Blink Mini camera is VERY easy to setup and has motion detection that can be adjusted for sensitivity. It is also able to set area of detection in field of view! I installed 3 of these inside my house and at any given time they will alert me if there is motion in the house when they are armed (through the blink app). They have easily integrated with my Alexa show 5 and also my Echo dots, (3rd gen) with announcement of motion detection

Nice little camera, love the features. The subscription is reasonable but not necessary for my purpose for the camera. Compatable with the sync module 2, which is what im going with. Suits my needs just fine. I wish the pan/tilt would track movement on its own, but for me, it's really no problem. Reasonable price for everything this camera does.

I’m having fun with my new mini pan and tilt 360 wired camera and getting some much needed peace of mind when I’m away from my dogs. I’ve been experimenting with various locations to monitor what the dogs are doing while I’m gone and tease them a bit. I live in a townhouse and can see the whole middle floor with 1 camera! Setup was super easy. Just snap the camera to the pan tilt mount, plug it in, and connect up to the app. The 360 rotation of the camera is so smooth as it pans and the ability to look up and is so cool. Motion is controlled through app in live view using a directional pad. You can also take photos of the current view. Overall the app is simple to use and very user friendly. There are several notification options for you to toggle to personalize what works best for your lifestyle and needs. There are also several recording options. Try out the subscription or get the sync module. Audio picks up a decent amount of white noise depending on the location. Mine seems quieter away from the kitchen discreetly placed on a bookshelf to blend in with my home decor without being an eye sore. Overall I’m very happy with the camera, tilt and pan mount, and the app, all with very simple easy to use setups.

Very nice set up. It came with everything to get started setting up. Set up was super easy and it works as it should. There is a setting to flip the video if you want to hang it upside-down. The camera also acts as a chime for my Blink doorbell which I like.

There is a lot to like about the Blink Mini Camera mounted on the pan tilt base. The camera records full HD video, day and night. The video quality has been great. The default motion detection works like other cameras I have used in that by the time it starts recording the subject of the motion is gone. If you turn on the Live View recording feature the camera records all of the motion from a few moments before motion triggered the camera. While this is great and is something that other cameras I have will not do, it requires a paid subscription. The pan and tilt base is great. I set the camera up in my entry hall and could focus clearly from end to end and even clearly on the decorative items beside it. The camera was easy to mount on the base and I like the fact that Blink included a plug for the camera on the base so that the unit only requires one outlet. The app was quickly installed and works well. The camera and pan tilt base function on a five-star level in my opinion. My reason for the overall three-star rating is that you only get very basic functions unless you pay for a subscription.

Very good idea wonderful working perfectly for the price

We go on road trips fairly often and like to know things at home are safe/secure as well as check in on our beloved pets. This camera is perfect for this as it has a 360 view. We placed it on the breakfast bar that separates the kitchen and livingroom and now can look into 3 rooms regardless whether it's high or low - we can see it. The subscription rates for storage/retention of video are also extremely reasonable and being that they are stored in Amazon's data centers, they are safe even if someone destroys or steals the camera. All they need is a power outlet and WiFi connection and you're good to go. Grab a few of them and your entire house interior can be covered. Definitely an inexpensive but worthwhile investment for the peace of mind to watch over your home and valuables while you're away, and it's on 24/7, unlike your brother-in-law house-sitter or next-door-neighbor who pops in once or twice a day - plus once you're on camera, it doesn't forget who it's seen. Picture quality is fantasic - get a few of these, you won't regret it!

Having had a few generations of blink outdoor cameras we decided to grab this mini indoor one as an add on. We currently have four outdoor cameras and honestly for the cost it’s the best thing on the market. So we already had the blink infrastructure but no cameras inside. Much to my wife’s disliking since she works for home we got it installed it anyway. Ok on to this mini camera and that’s what you’re buying a mini camera. This is the only “wired” blink camera we own meaning you must connect to a power supply but I do believe you need the hub and that makes the functionality wireless. Setting this camera up was simple and the application recognized the new camera once the QR code was scanned. I had a little trouble getting the base to calibrate for some reason it kept giving me an error even though there was nothing by the base and you must get through the calibration to move the camera. The picture quality is similar to our other blink cameras which means it’s “good enough”. I do like that’s it’s not an eyesore and doesn’t take up much room. I don’t like the viewing field though I wish it was better plus you can only get to 90 degrees on the base meaning it can’t look straight down. For an indoor camera this will do the job but the outdoor cameras perform better

I am not quite sure what to make of the Blink Mini pan Tilt indoor wired HD video smart rotating security camera. My first impressions were definitely very much wow. The device is built well. The mounting base is heavy and even resisted toppling over when I was testing out the features. We were not home, and I was talking to my dogs, who were curious, to say the least as to why this little device on a ledge was moving and sounded like me. The camera clarity is impeccable. As a pet owner, I like being able to check on my dogs and see how their day is going. For practical applications though, I am at a loss of what else to do with this aside from setting it out when we are on vacation. We have another home security system that this camera is not compatible with unless I am missing something. As a stand alone subscription, I appreciate that the price is only three dollars per month. However, I would have more aspirations to use this if it were uploaded to a local hard drive or memory chip. My conclusion is that this is not exactly for me since I already have a subscription based home security system. For the price and quality of the app and camera, this is a solid win for anyone looking to improve their security.

The Blink Mini Pan-Tilt Wired HD Video Smart Rotating Security Camera is a nice, compact indoor security camera with good quality video and a lot of features. The camera and pan-tilt, rotating base are compact in size, so you can put it anywhere, as long as you have power close by. The power cord and adaptor are included. I am using it primarily to monitor pets, but it could be used to monitor anything. Although it is small, the base is well-weighted so you can sit it close to the edge of a counter for full range of view and it won't be easily knocked off by pets. My only complaint at all is I had a bit of a difficult time connecting it to my iPhone originally, but eventually got it. Then I also connected it to my wife's iPhone and the connection was instant with that one. I'm not sure what the difference was, but obviously something unique to the first phone I tried. After I got it connected, however, then I've really liked everything else about it. You will be prompted to download a Blink App, which leads you through connections, setting up an account, etc. I was really impressed by the quality of the video. It provides clear, HD colored video and night-time video also, and you can also do snapshot pictures. It has a motion detection feature that can be turned on/off and you can set it up to notify you when the motion detection is triggered and starts recording. It has two way audio, so you can also hear what is going on in the room or speak to your pets or anyone in the room. You can connect the camera to your Alexa device for voice control, or run it with your cell phone. It comes with 30 day free subscription to store video clips in the cloud, after which you can decide if you want to add a monthly subscription, or if you don't want to store the video clips, you can just use the video camera to have a live view of the room, whenever there is motion or if you want to just check in and see the room. The pan-tilt, rotating base is great. You can operate it from your phone and do a full 360 degree rotating view, as well as angling it straight up and down. If I set it by the edge of my counter, I can see every place in the room. There are a variety of different settings related to the motion detection and when/how clips get recorded. There are also settings related to night vision, audio, video quality, pan-tilt settings, status indicators, account and privacy, ability to set up schedules, notifications and the ability to do firmware updates. So, with all these setting options, you can truly customize this camera and how it operates to your liking. This is really a nice indoor security camera and the pan-tilt rotating base also makes it much more versatile. It works very well for me as a pet cam and could be used as a nanny cam or for any other indoor security needs also.

I wish it would record for longer. But everything else is great! Clear picture, love I can utilize my phone to redirect it and talk through it.
