I got this camera to put in our living room to keep an eye on the dog while we're at work. First thing out of the box, I had to figure out the cover on the bottom of the camera (where the pan-tilt mount goes). There's virtually nothing as far as instructions on that part. I pulled on the little plastic cover, but it was extremely tight. To avoid breaking anything on a brand new camera, I searched for it and found a video that shows it just pops off when you pull it. It took A LOT of force to remove that plastic cover. Once off, the camera simply snaps into the pan-tilt mount. One power cable runs to the mount and then there is a short cable that runs from the mount to the camera itself. Once I downloaded the app and scanned the QR code, the camera was linked with the app and a software update was installed. Setup was a breeze. The camera will run through its full range of motion initially. This is great for it, but also allows you to make sure that it won't bump into anything when you're controlling it. I initially had it too close to something on the mantle and had to move it forward slightly. The image quality is pretty good, especially for a camera at this price point. You can zoom in and there are several options for monitoring. For example, it has motion detection, activity zones and the ability to flip the video if you need to mount it upside down. In the app, when viewing live, a control circle appears on screen. This allows you to control the movement of the camera. There is also a button for a 360 degree scan. This pans the camera at its current vertical height 180 degrees to the right, then 180 degrees to the left and the returns to centered. What I really like is that there is a "home" button. Once you get the camera centered where you want it, you can update the "home" location. Pressing the home button will return the camera to that spot so you never have to worry about moving it back manually. There are couple of downsides for me with this camera. One, in writing this review, I pulled up the camera to check a few settings. The app told me that the pan-tilt mount wasn't connected and to check the power cable. I knew it was connected since the camera was working and it gets its power through the pan-tilt mount. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and everything was fine. I think my biggest gripe is that they don't have multiple users for the camera. For example, my other cameras allow me to have authorized users that I can send an invite to so that my wife can also see and use them. The Blink camera doesn't have that. They tell you to give them your login info and that is how they can view/use the camera. Why not be able to have multiple users for one camera? Everyone else can. Overall, for the price, you can't beat it. Having the ability to pan/tilt the camera is great, and not something you usually see in this price range. I recommend it. The few downsides are not major, and the benefits of this camera far outweigh them.

This is the best thing to have, especially if you have an elderly in the house. I use it on my 92 yrs old mother & it works wonderful.

I own several other cameras for both inside and outside my house. (Nest, Ring and Yi) with a total of around 10 cameras so I have had lots of experience with setting up and using security cameras. The Blink Mini Indoor Pan-tilt Mount, is an inexpensive camera. Setting it up, was more complex than my other cameras. There were many layers of security. I was surprised to find that I needed to link it directly to my Amazon account but then I realized that Blink is just another division of Amazon much like the Ring Cameras. But linking it directly to my Amazon account made me nervous and I hope that when the free trial ends, they doesn’t end and they start charging my account and I will need to figure out how to stop this. . Getting the camera up and running took far too long. I downloaded the app and I am still having trouble using the app after several days. If the room is brightly lit, the picture quality is good but as the light dims, the picture quality is not great. When I open the app, it defaults to the original picture (of me) rather than going directly to the current activities. There are clips of video but it also does not consistently record. This camera might work better if you had the whole suite of Blink Products. The Pan-Tilt feature is nice especially if you were monitoring pets or children that move around. Frankly, I don’t think this is a great camera and I would not encourage people to start out with this camera. There are better options. All of these cameras like to charge you for cloud storage but the cost of the Blink is reasonable. With my other cameras, I can access video in the event of a break in and email it to the police so having the cloud storage is nice.

Nice little camera. Easy to set up and control. Not real high on resolution but meets my needs.

I would recommend Blink mini pan-tilt indoor security camera. I decided that I would go with another camera and planned on returning this one. The added security of two-factor authentication changed my mind. I kept the cameras.

This mini camera does the job. I turned off the infrared light due to the fact that I have this camera at a window that already has an outdoor light source.

Nice camera for the money. I had issues with the first one I bought. When I spoke through the app no sound came out of the camera. Returned and replaced with a new one and it works as should.

This is Great product for home security. Cloud access is great.
