To help extend your battery life, try lowering the motion sensitivity slightly in the Blink app, reducing the clip length, and using Activity Zones to limit detection to only the areas you need monitored. A weak Wi-Fi connection to the Sync Module can also cause the camera to use more power, so ensuring a strong signal can make a significant difference. Regarding battery replacements, Blink cameras require AA 1.5V non-rechargeable lithium metal batteries for optimal performance. Rechargeable AA batteries typically operate at a lower voltage (1.2V) and may not provide consistent performance or the expected battery life in Blink cameras.
