I understand your frustration with the subscription costs to access all features. The Blink Outdoor 4 does offer basic functionality without a subscription, including live view, two-way audio, motion detection alerts, and limited cloud storage for recent clips, but a Blink Subscription Plan is required for extended video history, advanced features like person detection, and longer clip storage. While the subscription does add to the overall cost, the base camera functionality still provides solid security monitoring capabilities. Thank you for sharing your experience!

I contacted blink support. And nobody could help me connect two cameras . I might’ve welll just bought 3 instead of the 5 pack as 2 of them don’t even work or connect to anything. Very disappointing to waste money on a product that half works. Blink barely emails me back to help me solve my problem.

Checking that your Wi-Fi signal strength is adequate in the camera locations
Performing a fresh reset on the non-connecting cameras
