Never even tested the camera since I couldn't get beyond the frustration involved with trying to attach the cam to the mount. It was on sale for a great price but ended up not being worth the time and trouble because of the mount.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend Cameras used while traveling in RV

Did not want to get tied into a monthly fee however after 30 day trial expired if we wanted to view prior videos or save them we needed to subscribe to either $3.99 monthly for one device or $12.99 for unlimited. No thank you.

It can scale up to 10 devices per module and even included a blink door bell with it. You dont need to purchase subscription if you dont need it. When paired a Energizer Lithuim battery, they say it last up to 2 years but really it is more than that.

Also has a 30 day free trial of the premium plan. It can be used for free but the premium subscription offers great security and peace of mind. Would recommend this

Blink advises to use them but do not offer what rechargeable lithium battery to use as a replacement...

The Blink Outdoor 4 is designed to deliver up to two years of battery life based on default settings using two AA 1.5V lithium metal batteries; however, actual battery life will vary based on device settings, usage frequency, and environmental factors such as temperature. To help extend your battery life, try lowering the motion sensitivity slightly in the Blink app, reducing the clip length, and using Activity Zones to limit detection to only the areas you need monitored. A weak Wi-Fi connection to the Sync Module can also cause the camera to use more power, so ensuring a strong signal can make a significant difference. Regarding battery replacements, Blink cameras require AA 1.5V non-rechargeable lithium metal batteries for optimal performance.
