It can scale up to 10 devices per module and even included a blink door bell with it. You dont need to purchase subscription if you dont need it. When paired a Energizer Lithuim battery, they say it last up to 2 years but really it is more than that.

While Blink cameras can function without a subscription for local viewing and basic notifications, we understand that the live view experience—especially the connection speed—is crucial when you're trying to monitor your property remotely. The delay you're experiencing in connecting to live view is definitely something we want to address.
Here are a few things that might help improve your experience:
Check your WiFi signal strength: Ensure your Sync Module is positioned close to your router for optimal connectivity
Restart your Sync Module: Unplug it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in to refresh the connection
Update firmware: Make sure all cameras and the Sync Module have the latest firmware installed through the Blink app
Reduce network congestion: Check if other devices on your network are consuming significant bandwidth
That said, if you're looking for faster live view performance and more advanced features like extended cloud storage and enhanced notifications, a Blink subscription does provide those benefits. However, we understand that's an additional cost consideration.
